    Excellent Experience

Overall, excellent experience. The staff was very friendly, beginning at check -in and including housekeeping and The Market personnel. The room was exactly as described with a harbor view and the area was perfect for dining and walking. Also centrally located so we could see other parts of Long Beach. We opted for self-parking and easy access to the garage and hotel. We'll definitely stay there again!

    Very nice

I stayed here for 5 nights for business meetings and a conference for an organization of which I am a member. My room had a great view and the location was very good- within walking distance of lots of restaurants and some shopping (although I didn’t shop). The staff was very nice including at the lobby cafe. A special thanks to Nancy who oversaw coordination of our meetings and conference. Although other reviewers on Trip Advisor complained about the hotel not being full service, from my perspective there was nothing missing and I spend 60 nights or so on the road a year. It would be a nice place for vacation too- close to lots of sightseeing etc.

    Long Beach Grand Prix Weekend

Nice hotel with a great view and location, but no Restaurant or Room Service - we have come to the Long Beach Grand Prix for a long weekend stay for over 25 years, and miss the full service hotel experience - but the Lobby Bar area is always a fun place to hang out during the races.

    Average stay, awkward service

The stay was average. The “perks” that are supposed to explain the daily destination fee were not really much. It doesn’t make much sense to have printed cards listing them. All but one interaction with staff was awkward. When I requested bathrobes I was asked “What do you need them for?” No sunscreen in available which adds to questioning of the “destination fee”. Even if there are large events, it should call for some planning. It is California. Bed didn’t have a fitted sheet for some reason, maybe that’s normal (??).

    Not a couples place!

Most unimpressive as is Long Beach. Not even a restaurant in this hotel...just a lobby coffee shop. Not a place for couples...business only! Our top floor corner room offerred pretty views. Decor was budget style. Elevators took forever. Gym was hot, no windows.
