    A few problems

My Ac didn’t work in my room and took awhile. (Wasting my time). Then I asked if we could switch rooms a couple of days after stay in a room with a very small balcony. We changed rooms and there were several issues with that room that I paid more money for Again AC didn’t work the switches in the bathroom didn’t work correctly the balcony door wouldn’t close. After I called the front desk I was told repair guys would be up in 15 minutes 40 minutes later he showed up but said he can’t fix it he will have to call for another guy. 1 hour later another showed up and got it working. That night when we got back to our room late and went to bed we didn’t sleep all night because every time the AC went on or off there was a loud banging. Which was like every 15 minutes. In the morning I called front desk again they said a repair guy will be up in 15 minutes 40 minutes later I called again. Then they told me he would be up in 10 minutes. I said if not I will be down to talk to someone. 30 minutes later I went down and asked to talk to a manager. I spoke with Ivan and asked if he can compensate me in any way like remove the xtra charge for new room. He refused. He said he would make sure the repair guy would be up in 5 minutes. The repair man (Edwardo) told me the noise is normal. I said no way. He fixed the bathroom switches tried to fix balcony door and then tried to change the relay on AC and said he would have to find another to put in. He came back later and fixed the AC. Many of my paid for vacation hours were lost due to me waiting and calling for repairs. I’m sure I’m not saying all the times correct of waiting because I know it was more like 3 1/2 hours for the new room to get it repaired Even though the balcony door never was repaired correctly.

No Issues, but Won't Rush Back

Enjoyed my 3 nights there with extended family. It's a large resort with two big pools and a swim-up bar. You have to balance the price paid for this resort versus your expectations. I was pleased with the room, the amenities and the variety of food. Bar service was great and wait times, if any, were more than reasonable. The room was comfortable and a decent size. The coffee shop verandah off the main lobby was a pleasant, shaded escape. We were a group of 10, who were able to meet and get a large table whenever we wanted for dinner and at breakfast at the buffet. Food wasn't the greatest though. Some members of my group felt the Japanese restaurant was a huge disappointment. Likewise, I felt that way about the steak restaurant. We went early and got a table, but many other people were told there was an hour wait at busy time. It occurred to me that they might actually throttle the number of tables available to control the number of portions served and the physical constraints of serving that many steak dinners! The buffet seemed to have gone down in quality since our last visit, but you will certainly find ample food options for everyone, be it lunch, breakfast and dinner. Bar service everywhere was great. Tipping is not expected, but the bars and coffeeshop had jars for tips if you choose to leave a tip. Just be aware that the beach at the hotel is not for swimming. Large waves and quite the under-tow, with a lifeguard to make sure you don't even think about swimming!

    Great place!

We enjoyed our stay. The food was good drinks the usual at all inclusive resorts, the staff was friendly. We didn’t really participate in any entertainment as we went into town most nights. It was only a $5 uber ride into town. The area around the resort in an unimproved area which is kind of dirty but the resort is very clean. The only thing I didn’t really like in the rooms was there wasn’t much counter space around the sinks but there was storage space below. Overall it was a good stay
