    Destination Wedding

This place is supposed to be known for their weddings. Maybe it was a bad time but they need to hire more staff so this place can meet it's full potential. I like to look at the glass as half full and not half empty but others may not be so nice. Enjoyed myself because of the company and family but this place could use some improvement

Good trip at an underwhelming property

Not great, not horrible. It was an enjoyable trip with our family of 6 -- all adults ages 18-75. Nothing specifically negative, just underwhelming all around. Food was comparable to a Carnival cruise ship buffet. Too many face to face attempts to "invite" us to enjoy (purchase) spa services. Big property with spacious rooms and excellent housekeeping service in the rooms. Pools were small and too few for a property this size. Beach was not maintained and covered in washed up seaweed and fish carcasses. Also, one of the furthest properties from town --which was a selling point for us -- but for reference one way taxi to PVR will be $85 US dollar. We stayed at the Hilton Vallarta for a past visit to PVR - it was an remarkable property and that is where I would recommend and where we will stay next time.

    Great Anniversary

We have been to lots of Palladium in Mexico and even bought a PTC Membership. I was nervous when we arrived as the property is old, but this hotel has the best service of any I have been to. We celebrated our 19th anniversary with our family and hey went above and beyond to make sure everything was fantastic. My only complaint is the pools are VERY small for the property and they were full. If they fix the pool situation I would definitely come back.

Amazing Secluded Hotel and Quiet Beach!

My wife and I stayed here for 9 nights as part of a mini honeymoon trip in June 2025. The resort is separated with 3 buildings containing guest rooms and an adult pool area, a family pool area, and the ocean beachfront. There are bars at each pool, the beach, and the lobby. Overall, the stay was amazing and exactly what we were looking for: a secluded resort, beautiful views, secluded/private beach, and delicious food. Positives: - Quiet beach with scenic rocky outcrop and no boats and minimal sales people. - Good waves for surfing (locals were out as well). - Delicious food (buffet, international, and Japanese restaurants were our favorite) - Yoga and stretching activities offered everyday. - Great gym with lots of machines, free weights, and barbell benches. - Secluded resort and it feels like you are in nature away from the city centre. - Evening shows are fun with lots of energy and crowd interaction/dancing. - Gym, entertainment, and bar service staff were great and very positive. - Surfing was great and Alex knew exactly where to catch the waves. Not for first time beginners though. Negatives: - Sound Proofing between the guest rooms and the hallways in Villa 2 are POOR. We could hear people slamming doors and the family in the next room with kids during the day and throughout the evening. - No organized beach volleyball though there is a net setup and we were able to gather a group a couple times to play. - The lady (Pona?) in the Pier 27 gift shop was very difficult with us and provided poor customer service. We were trying to buy gift mugs as part of the sale promotion but she wouldn't honor it as purchases were a couple days apart.
