    Amazing!

We had an experience well beyond what we could have ever imagined. Upon arrival we met our amazing concierge Miriam Ortiz, and we will be requesting her for our futures visits. Our swim-up suite was beyond our expectations and were greeted with an anniversary surprise. Miriam handled everything with ease, from planning our dinners, our surprise romantic dinner, evening activities, spa treatments, cenotes experience, complimentary wine tasting, and transportation. We had a last minute request during our stay to travel to Isla Mujeres and Miriam arranged it flawlessly. When we returned to our room we had another beautiful and well-thought surprise in our room. I cannot say enough about the attention that was given to every detail of our stay. The food was incredible! From the amazing lattes at the Nespresso Cafe, the delicious food and wonderful service at Hadar, quite possibly the best steak I’ve ever eaten at Sal, the members party(again Miriam worked magic and secured us a table unexpectedly) with all the courses and entertainment were beyond what we could have imagined. We stayed in the Reserve Junior Swim-Up Suite and I can honestly say our bed was incredibly comfortable, the turn down service has probably spoiled us for life, the double rainfall walk in shower was luxurious, and the amenities were top notch. We had easy access to multiple pools including the one directly off our balcony. We were lucky enough to be visited by coati, raccoons, and sweet gatos during our visit which was an unexpected treat. I’m not the kind of person to leave a lengthy review, but I can’t say enough great things about this place or Miriam. P.S. they are also doggo friendly and have a beautiful dog park area!

GABRIELA IN CELSIUS POOL BAR ROCKS!!

Great week away, we never left the resort which is unusual for us and we didn't want for anything. The room was great in family concierge with access from the room to the pool. The only drawback in the room as there were 5 of us was the sofa bed mattress was rather uncomfortable. However the restaraunts and staff around the resort were amazing, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. GABRIELA in Celsius pool area we are looking at you! All afternoon delivering us delicious food and drinks direct to our poolside often adding in a water to the beer order on the hotter days. Absolutely lovely lady and true professional. A credit to the hotel. The aquazone is great as are the beach areas. Lots of great places to stop off and look at and the kids club was excellent when we had a night off to have a date. The kanna bar is great as is the blue agave and the lunchbox. We would definitely visit again

Beautiful hotel; however, there are raccoons, cats, and coatis

The hotel overall and rooms were beautiful and well maintained. The hotel staff was courteous and always pleasant. The food at the Lunch Box and Bana were our favorite. The drinks were okay. The resort is very family friendly. Our kids loved the water park and pool area. The pool is not as big as other paradisus hotel locations but decent. The beach is clean and a great place to lounge. One surprise for us as a family was the number of cats, raccoons, and coatis that were roaming around, even at restaurants that were not closed in.

    Not five star on balance

Service was really mixed (and we were regularly tipping staff!). Food at speciality restaurants was very good, but the buffet was not great- habit of trying to produce over complicated items with result that food tended to be low quality. Would encourage them to focus on quality produce and keeping things simple. Also if you are attending with teenage family I would avoid this hotel- it’s more for young families or the adult only areas for adults, lacks an in between experience.

    Overcharged $1400 and can’t get a response

They charged me double for my room due to confusion at the front desk. I thought I had resolved the issue when on site. But the refund wasn’t processed (about $1,400 USD) and now they will not respond to me to process my refund. I’ve tried emailing and calling them.
