Great overall stay with a few minor issues.

Overall a great stay. We had an ocean view suite which was great. One big bedroom with balcony, a lounge with balcony and sofa bed and a large bathroom. Room was clean and really nice. Large bed and very comfy. Resort is massive and lots of walking which we like, you could also get picked up in golf buggies to take you to other places in the resort. Pools were ok, very large but dated and peeling paint and lots of damaged tiles. Kids splash park also dated and limited slides for children 5 and older. Swim up bar was ok but no atmosphere like other hotels we have been to. Beaches-sunset cove stunning and really nice, ok for snorkelling but limited. Someone did mention this beach was made slightly bigger and quite a bit of the coral was taken away as a result. Other beaches were rocky and hard to get into the sea. A-La carte restaurants were all great especially Poseidon, Indian and Mexican. Service very mixed either great or slow. Odaine in the Japanese was excellent but in Poseidon it was very slow in the evening. Buffet restaurants were all dreadful - there are 3 all serve pretty much the same food which is limited, poor quality and often out of plates and empty dishes see photos. Gardens and rest of hotel are lovely and well maintained more or less but things like Infinity bar had building work going on. Entertainment was good in the evenings. Kids club was great and our daughter loved it.

    A good time is

This was all a first for me and from beginning to the end I couldn’t have known how beautiful it was. Nothing truly prepared me for this. My granddaughter had been here before and we came to celebrate her wedding here, so now I know exactly why she chose it.

Amazing hotel in a gorgeous location with staff that go the extra mile 👌🏽

Couple and 6 year old girl travelling from the UK. From start to finish all staff at the Grand Palladium Jamaica were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Grounds: The grounds are spotless with gardeners working around the clock. They are happy to grab you a coconut for your morning jelly water just ask! Milton is your man 👏🏽 Bars: The bar staff are all hardworking . Shout out to Trish at the Xaymaica bar who always sorted us out. Also Roy at the pool/La Brisas beach bar and Donna and co at Sunset Cove bar 💜 Rooms: Our room was cleaned daily to a really good standard. We left notes with tips for the cleaner. Big shout out to Houseman Shani Perrin who was always on hand to help us out with any extra bits we needed for our room (minibar/towels etc) if you have a particular drink you like ask him and he will do his best to help 🙌🏽 Food: Food was gorgeous, so nice and fresh. Ackee and saltfish for breakfast which was a treat. Curry chicken, even oxtail on the Jamaican theme night. We went to the Poseidon, Xaymaica, Bhoghali, El Dorado - all really nice 👌🏽👌🏽 Kids club: My daughter Athena loved the kids club! Staff are on the ball with kids of all ages and look after them really well. We had staff on WhatsApp so felt at ease when leaving her. The productions they put together with the kids were amazing, credit to Shaquana and the other girls 💖💖 Beaches: Sunset Cove is stunning, the staff keep it so clean shout out the Ransford who was there from the crack of dawn 🙌🏽 bar right there and jerk hut what more could you want 🇯🇲🏖️ La Brisas is also stunning and right next to the pool bar. Pool: Early birds catch the sunbeds lol. Pool is thoroughly cleaned daily and it’s huge! My daughter loved it plenty of room to use her floaties. Check in was smooth and fairly quick. Our flight was cancelled on the day of check out and reception staff were really helpful. We booked with TUI and despite stress of the delay we were relieved to be allowed to stay an extra night. Tips: We brought single dollars for tipping and a little goes a long way. We appreciate everyone’s hard work so tipped for good service. The staff all work hard to make your holiday what it is so they definitely deserve gratuity 🫶🏽 We would definitely go back to this hotel.
