Jul 30, 2025Phenomenal experience, amazing service
This was a splurge vacation for the family and one of the few I've felt I've gotten my money's worth. The resort is at the far end of the peninsula that is Cancun, affording it a great view and a killer beach. Anyone who is traveling to Mexico's beaches knows that there is a kelp issue in the summer due to climate change - this resort's location uses geography to minimize the impact, but there will still be some. There was an impressively small amount. Let's start with booking - the website is fairly simple to process although you want to be sure you clearly read everything. While advertised as an all-inclusive, some of the packages are not. I accidentally booked one of these, despite getting top-tier on room and everything else, but when I called a week ahead of time to confirm all was well the person on the phone was able to make the change immediately so I had no issue while there. I want to rave for a moment about the Infinite Club, which is an option at booking if you get a high end package. Not only was it worth it (what can be better than essentially having your own concierge to clear everything for you?), I feel I need to give special shoutouts to three incredible women who answered my roughly 2 billion questions: Victoria, Maria, and Evelyn, especially Victoria who had me asking detailed questions on everything from the room to what we could do on a daily basis. Via email, phone, or in person, they answered everything with a smile and courtesy. They are the reason we had such a good time, I am fully convinced. Food is excellent, as would be expected at a 5 star hotel, and the services are also amazing. We took advantage of a few additional services - a family dinner in a beachfront cabana and a romantic dinner and spa treatment. Both were unforgettable. Having your own private dinner on the beach with staff fawning over you was something my family will never forget, and the spa treatment was relaxing and the dinner was phenomenal. My compliments here to Ari, who was the lead on both of these and treated us like royalty. While the hotel did have some occasional signs of its age, everything was constantly being maintained. We saw teams painting small blemishes, fixing an errant crack, and maintaining the staggering amount of windows. We booked a two bedroom suite and had a marvelous ocean view from the 7th floor. A fully stocked minibar and snack selection, restocked twice a day, was available for my family, and the attendants kept our room spotless. We also used room service multiple times (during day trips) and that food was delivered hot and was of high quality. Of the restaurants on site, we enjoyed the hibachi restaurant (Torii, I believe) the most and the steak restaurant the least. While the steak was great, the steak served during our spa dinner was one of the best I'd ever eaten and unfortunately set a new high bar. Of course, there are also many side places to eat, including a swim up bar/restaurant and (highly recommended) poolside ceviche. There are also nightly events, sometimes with food - we had a Mexican buffet and show one night that had some really lovely food and entertainment. Our family of 5 felt comfortable in our suite and we were treated as if we were far more important than we were. I would happily rebook here and enjoy another week of relaxation.

Great with Allergies
Great inclusive for family and those looking for a relaxing vacation. The room is a little aged but acceptable. The staff are very friendly. Traveling with someone with multiple allergies, the restaurant staff and chef were very accommodating. Shoutout to the people at Torii. It was such a fun experience. I was wary with the allergies but the chef and manager ensured me that they will take care of us. And they definitely did. The chef cooked her food first to restrict cross contamination. And they even had vegan ice cream. She really enjoyed the meal. And then the chef went on to cook the rest of our meal. The food was great. The atmosphere was fun. Highly recommend Torii.

Vitale at the hibachi place was AMAZING! great show, great food, really showed our birthday boy a great night. Kept the kids happy all night.
