    Seen Better Days

This place has seen better days. If you're familiar with the area and just need an overnight it might be fine, but I'd hate for this to be someone's first experience in Winter Park. "Mountain view" means your thin window panes are right on the highway so expect road noise. Positives: large king bed, big room, good-sized pool with views of the mountains, views of gondola from "mountain view" room, proximity to the base. Negatives: run down, threadbare hallways that smelled of urine, teeny tiny bathroom, old furniture, takeaway breakfast was a single pop-tart, restaurant wasn't open.

Find something better, you'll be glad you did.

Where to start. Slowest check in ever. Room looks like it hasn't been updated since 1990s Shower is moldy, and dirty. Bathroom floor hasn't been mopped in way too long. Beds are beyond used up. Continental Breakfast was cold, and 14 bucks...and the coffee was nasty. Absolutely cannot recommend the place. Left before our planned checkout date.

    Spring break getaway

Place has really gone down over the years! The restaurant is closed for renovations, and has been all ski season, but the website says it’s now open. Rooms and remainder of the building are extremely dated and worn, bedding was way too light for the cold night, froze our butts off. Shower has what looks like puke in the bottom, it’s a stain!! Toilet seat is broken too! Pool is open but very cold, and the hot tubs looked dirty enough we decided not to get in. In short, all amenities are either closed, or too dirty/ill kept to use! Very disappointed!

I could have cried when I walked in the front door of this place. FILTHY is not the word! I really wish I’d looked at the reviews on here as the hotel website is NOT the same place! Yes it’s ‘semi convenient’ for skiing access (via a bus). It is not walkable to anywhere. Rooms are very tired, outdated, dirty and generally the place is falling apart. The pool area is DISGUSTING (a piece of bread remained by the side of the tub for the 3 days we were there for). The fire exit was blocked up with a pice of wood. As for the rooms the bedding was gross, no pillow or mattress protectors, linen not pressed. When I rang reception to enquire about breakfast they did not know of the restaurant was open or not. Very disappointed considering the cost - $600 for 3 nights

    Never ever again

We booked two rooms. A king suite and a king room. I have honestly never stayed in a worse place anywhere in the world. I’ve been a lot of places. I could forgive the hairball in our bed, the filthy floors and burned out light bulbs, the hilarious perk of no crossbar in both the toilet power holders in either room, the non working appliances , the the lack of towels but the thing that really got me was the RUDE front desk that kept saying “ not my problem.” Maybe if we were paying pittance in Laos.. but seriously!!!! By Sunday with multiple skiers saying breakfast was supposed to be at 7am and it’s not open , the front deal said I looked. They didn’t show up sorry can’t do anything… Is the Health Department really a thing in Colorado? Electrical, plumbing, food , fire…. 250.00 a night ? WTF?????
