    Central Williamsburg location

Pros: Very convenient location. Grounds nice, clean. Because of covid19 had to make reservations for pool to limit # of people which was fine. Unit was spacious. Nice jacuzzi tub. Cleaned it myself and took a nice long relaxing bath. Full kitchen with stove/oven, but beware all units don't have full kitchen. Cons: beds were hard, TV in main bedroom was so small I had to wear my glasses in bed to read the guide, unit needed dusting- spider webs, units are like a duplex, you share a door then there's 1 unit on the ground floor and an upstairs unit. The washer/dryer is upstairs in the hallway and the 2 units share the W/D. Also the shower stall is tight.

Be aware when you do the presentation

First off let me say the resort itself was wonderful. The room, the people and the atmosphere was great. Why I gave a two star was because of the presentation that we did. It was to buy a time share. The first gentleman was very nice, great at his job and knew what he was doing. He was also very pleasant. When we declined he didn't get mean or weird or anything. He sent us back to the place we were before to get our gifts and that's were it went bad. When we got there, their was a lady that we met with and she tried again to sell us another deal. We politely said no and then the attitude changed for this lady. It was like a light switch from kind to not so kind. It was then that she proceeded to tell us that we could never do another presentation again that it would be this astronomical price if we would change your mind. And to sign here and here and basically get out. I Was not impressed at all with the ending of our presentation. Deciding to buy into this is a huge decision to which people need to learn to have respect with a yes or no answer. And they need to learn to keep being professional which she did not.

    Historical adventure

This resort is very conveniently located to all of the historical sites around Williamsburg, VA. The resort is clean and very well maintained. The care taken with regard to health safety is commendable. We look forward to using this location on future trips to the area.

    Ok place to stay

This was the first of three resorts we stayed at in Williamsburg. There is road construction at the front of the property and the sign announcing the property is dimly lit. There is a guard shack that no one manned except for Friday evening. Some of the precautions I expected for COVID-19 were in place - social distancing and plexiglass screens and hand sanitizer at the front desk. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were open. They required in-person reservations. The hot tub and gym were closed. There are outdoor tennis courts, basketball hoop, and handball wall. The activity center and spa are both in residential buildings. I did not venture to visit them. Our unit was on the first floor. The unit had all the things that are usually found in timeshare units. We had a small patio with 2 chairs and small table in the back. There was a picnic table and charcoal grill within walking distance of our unit. The unit was in decent condition. The in-unit supplies were in good shape. The unit was on the small side. Everything was compact. Although the resort map showed a recycling bin, we never saw anything marked recycling. We ended up dumping our recycling in the dumpster that was labeled recycling on the property map. There was not a recycling bin within the unit. We did not receive check out procedures.

    Expected better from a 5Star

My family and I stayed in a one bedroom condo. On the surface, the place is fantastic, however once you start looking at everything, there are problems. Let’s start with the good: -the room was surface clean -the dishes, silverware, pots and pans, hot plate, etc. we’re all clean. -the dishwasher was clean -the bathroom was very clean. -the grounds and amenities were all functional and great! -the Covid restrictions make you feel a little safer about staying away from home -the safety of 3 locked doors before getting into the room is great. -the lobby is beautiful Now, for the problems: -there were a couple drops of blood on the sheet in the bedroom -the pillows smelled like they were old -the hallway and stairwell reeked of marijuana all times of the day -there was what looked like blood smeared on the handrail in the stairwell -there was dust all over everything -the furniture is older and starting to breakdown. Overall, this place was not bad, but I would expect more from a 5 Star Establishment.
