10 additional charges added to pre paid room rate.

I am tired of hidden fees. We booked with Westgate directly for $390.60 per night for 6 nights. After checking out online paying taxes and fees I ended up paying an additional $56.63 for a total $447.23 per night. This is not what I am upset with. It was the additional $40.23 per night fees we were hit with when checked in, now making it a total of $487.23 per night. A 25% increase of the original advertised room rate. Also this property caters to OWNERS and not guests. Each night we stayed there were private parties for owners only. There is no maid service, Rooms only get cleaned when you leave, we had to request towels every day. The furniture was extremely uncomfortable, old and worn out. The plumbing in the shower was weak and extremely sensitive, it was either scorching hot or freezing cold. I only give this a 2nd star for its location to the lifts. What I thought was a 5 star resort with first class service was simply an Air B&B rental with no service but with the service fees.

    Best employees ever!

The employees here are amazing. They're willing to go out of their way to help you with anything you need. It's been a pretty massive change from years past and the management here is doing something right. We love the area and the hotel offers a lot!

    Treated like a queen!

Just recently spent my birthday weekend here solo (10/23-26), & I must say This place is wonderful 🥰 they had Utah chocolate truffles and a bottle of sparkling cider awaiting me in my signature 1 bedroom villa🤭From the concierge, to the front desk, the transport guide, and especially the bellboys are extremely accommodating. I'd called ahead to let them know I would be arriving after 1030pm and they were prompt at getting me checked in. Even though it IS a true maze getting around there, the staff is ALWAYS around closely to guide you to your destination. Also, The elegant yet rustic & quaint decor speaks volumes. WILL be back!

    Vey nice stay

The location is amazing and the room was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful no matter who you spoke with. This is a large resort with three buildings connected by walk ways on the side of the mountain. The only downside is the lobby is in the front and if you have to transition to one of hte other buildings it is a little confusing. They do give you a map and mark it but the signage is lacking or not obvious at first. We meet other couples who had hte same issues we did. On check out my wife and I took the second way back to the lobby and meet another couple who was going the same place we were and we equated it to an escape room with no locked doors, lol. A joke but it is a bit of a maze and a little better signage would be helpful, at least for first timers. Overall it was a great experience and will be going back

Nice resort, but a headache to get around.

Great amenities and the staff is very helpful. We had a couple issues while there, like the elevator being out of service and we were on the 9th floor. Also, the shuttle being an hour wait. However, the only reason I will never stay there again is because it was a total headache trying to find your way around. It's very large and it's a terrible layout, with inadequate signage. Everyone we ran into during our 3 day stay was saying the same. Many of us had to have employees lead us to where we wanted to go. Wasn't a relaxing atmosphere at all.
