Horrible experience
We've stayed here in prior years, and it's only good for the location. This past trip from late November 2024 through the first week of December 2024 was a nightmare. The room they gave us was musty and the furnace didn't work. It was really cold during the days we were there and the room was freezing. It also smelled of mold. After contacting maintenance after the first night because we couldn't sleep from the temp of the room being so cold, a young man who didn't really speak English showed up, looked at the furnace, didn't do much of anything (I watched him the entire time), then told me it was fixed and left. That night, nothing changed and we were freezing and couldn't sleep again. The next day I complained, and a supervisor for maintenance showed up, took the furnace apart and then told us to demand a new room. Front desk said they were fully booked and couldn't switch our rooms. After wasting most of that day complaining, we were now on day 3 of our trip, hardly any sleep and my daughter and I were now getting sick from the cold room and obvious black mold in the room. They then miraculously found us a new room, and we switched. We lost a bunch of days of our vacation, now switching rooms, and both sick from that dirty room with a broken furnace, even though we were told by the first maintenance guy it was fixed. When I complained further to the front desk due to loss of time to enjoy our vacay and now being sick, the employee went into the back for about 15 mins then came out and said their manager said they were remove the resort fee for those three days. What a joke and a slap in the face. The entire trip was ruined, I spent $5k on a debacle of the stay at this resort and my daughter being allergic to mold ended up having to go to a hospital once we got home because the illness she contracted while in that first moldy, broken furnace room just got worse. I was lucky to finally get over my illness shortly after returning home. I've thought about contacting an atty and taking legal action, but I'd rather put this experience behind us. This review is just to warn others. Location is great, the hotel and it's staff are subpar. Think long and hard before booking here. The money you might save compared to Boardwalk or Yacht/Beach Club might not be worth it when this hotel ruins your entire trip with incompetent staff and shady business practices.

Disney world hotel but not really
The main benefit is the location of this resort . The hotel is tired and the maintenance is not enough to make it feel any less tired. The parking fee and the extra “hotel “ fee add up to almost $100 per night so be mindful if you are staying here over the Disney resorts due to price. The bus transportation to the parks is also not on par. The bus to will take you to the magic kingdom but will drop you off at the ticket center and not where all the Disney busses go , this will add an easy 30 minutes of travel for you to get to the kingdom. The room we had the bigger option as it was the family deluxe room and it was just fine but the furniture showed wear and there was no tub in the bathroom. So if you have little ones that might be an issue . The pool is a joke as you will find drunk adults thinking they are on trip to Cancun with their drinks in the pool or just plain eating nachos in the water. The pool is huge and that’s a plus but often feels over crowded . There are no lifeguards on duty and the one person on top of the water slide controlling the slide couldn’t be bothered to look up from her phone. If you need a place to sleep and go to the parks this is a great option but if you are used to the other deluxe Disney hotels this one misses the mark.

WDW Dolphin: Alcohol, Cigarettes and Mildew
Smells of mildew, alcohol and cigarettes. Pools are full of loud drinkers and the rooms are abysmal. Parking lot charges $38 a night and the lot was full, we were told to park at another resort. Daily amenities fee of $50 plus tax and LOUD construction going on wakes you up at 7am. Never again, not my tribe.

Good, clean basic accommodations
We always enjoy our stay at this hotel. On our latest trip, our housekeeping staff did a really great job, and we had no complaints. Perfect location to the parks. Rooms are clean and comfortable

Dolphin is always Great!
This a a great hotel! Love staying at the Dolphin. Always treated well by the associates, love the lobby area, great amenities, rooms are very comfortable, and a fantastic location near the Boardwalk. This trip we basically just hung out at the pool, which has a great grotto type pool area. Very beautiful with lots of trees, lots of lounge chairs, a water slide, a lap pool, food and beverage service, a sandy beach area, swan boats for rides, a DJ spinning great tunes, and just a great place to hang out in the Florida sunshine. Having spent probably 30-40 nights at the hotel since it opened, I highly recommend the Dolphin as an alternative to other Disney properties.
