Overall we had a good experience, not a great experience.
There were things we liked about the hotel and a couple where improvement was needed. The location was great, right in the heart of Waikiki. We had wonderful care and treatment by our housekeeper, Donna. She was very kind and thoughtful. When she finished our room it was perfect. We also want to give Keanu, the valet a shoutout. Like Donna he was always very friendly and helpful giving us suggestions when we asked for his help. While we were happy with the bedroom/sitting area the bathroom was not up to par, the toilet/shower room was extremely small and the sink area was very poorly lit. The bathroom is in desperate need of updating.

Loved my stay at Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber
I so enjoyed dealing with Joshua at the check-in desk. He was so cordial, attentive and friendly. He made me feel that I mattered as guest. I loved the room we had and the rates were reasonable. Loved my two-night stay and shared with my family and friends. I will definitely stay here again. 👍

Location, location, location
We booked through an agent to stay at The Beachcomber Waikiki Beach for 10 nights in May. Check-in was quick however, more information should have been shared at this point about things such as resort fees, wifi and water. Please note, the daily resort fee charged at check-out including tax was $47.18 per day. While this covers things like pool towels, Wi-Fi and water I was disappointed to find out that bottled water was not provided but instead there was a water dispenser in reception. As a result, we have to go and spend another $40 buying water bottles. If we had known this in advance we would have come prepared. In my opinion, this is not sufficient for a 23 story hotel. The room itself was a little tired but comfortable. Housekeeping was good. We were on the third floor facing out over a lower roof. There was a balcony but sadly due to a smelly vent expelling from a kitchen we did not use it other than to dry swimsuits. Noise was relatively limited and we both slept well. The pool area was nice. Please note, it does not get the sunshine until just after 11:00. The bar serves food and drinks at a very reasonable price – happy hour is 12:00 – 18:00 daily. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right in the thick of things – cannot be faulted. I would consider this hotel again if visiting the area based on the location alone.

Comfortable Stay
Room was comfortable, but on the smaller size. Just what we needed for coming in and out and sleeping. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for location and comfort. Can be a little pricey, but understandable for location.
