Loved it!
Fun vibes in the heart of the French Quarter. Close enough that you can get to the party. Far enough (Two blocks from Bourbon Street) that it won't keep you up. Tinasia at the front desk was a delight and made us feel at home.

Highly recommend ! Thank you Tinasia!
5/5 just based on the customer service and care we received at check in and through out our stay. Tinasia is a blessing ! She was so thoughtful and caring and helped us plan our trip on the spot. We are so grateful to her! The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the ground are stunning. Love the pool! Highly recommend. We stayed July 2025

Hotel de La Poste/3rd Block Depot restaurant experience
We had a wonderful experience at the hotel de la poste 3rd block Depot restaurant for breakfast. Katonya provided exceptional service and energy. She was knowledgeable and friendly. I got the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend got the breakfast quesadilla. Everything was flavorful. I would recommend this hotel to others. The front desk staff is friendly as well.

Still & Yet - the best Gumbo we know!
This was our second time in the restaurant in Hotel de la Poste. We loved it the first time and couldn’t stop wondering if it was the best gumbo in New Orleans. Two years later we were excited to put that theory to the test. Brittany welcomed us to the bar and took great care of us. She recommended what to drink with what we were ordering and she was spot on! Made it special! Now for the results… Yes. This is superior gumbo. It’s dark, it’s smoky, it’s highlighted by the coarse mini-scoops of mash potato and the flavors all come together with perfect contrast. It’s one of the best bites in the city! Bread pudding is a standout, too. The texture and the mix of tastes are really special.
