Fun at Medano Beach
We are at Villa Del Arco enjoying the beach. As usual Omar Sanchez is making sure we are having fun and being safe while paddle boarding and kayaking. Omar is very professional about his job but is, also, a friend who is glad to see you. The Villa group is fortunate to have him as an employee!

Anniversary get away. First time in Cabo
Went there with my wife for our anniversary get away. Spent 5 nights and loved every minute spent at this resort. Everything, from the restaurants to the staff were TOP NOTCH. The resort/room were very clean and definitely upscale compared to its sister resort of Villa Del Palmar. Don't know why some reviews said the staff were rude as we were treated excellent by all staff. Would definitely go there again and can't say enough about how we loved our stay at the Del Arco.

Be Aware, "membership" pressure
My wife and I recently stayed at Villa del Arco. While the property itself is stunning, future visitors should be aware of several important issues. The Good: The resort is beautifully maintained, and its large, comfortable rooms offer excellent views and modern amenities. We also appreciated the convenience of moving between Villa del Arco and the neighboring resort. This flexibility was a nice touch. The Beach: The beach area is relatively small, and while the view is beautiful, it’s hard to relax. As soon as you step down to the beach, numerous vendors aggressively try to sell trinkets. This was a significant annoyance and detracted from our experience. All-Inclusive Package: At $140 per person per day, the all-inclusive package is only worth it if you plan to drink a lot of alcohol. However, you should note that premium alcohol is not included in the package. If you’re not a heavy drinker, you may want to reconsider whether the cost is justified. The Ugly – Membership Presentation: This was the most significant issue we faced and one that nearly ruined our trip. Immediately after check-in, we were directed to the concierge, who kindly offered us discounts on activities and a couples massage if we agreed to participate in a 90-minute “VIP Experience.” Despite asking, it wasn’t made clear what this entailed, but we agreed. We would have declined outright if we had known this was a push to join a “membership” program through Interval International. The next morning, we attended what turned out to be a 3-hour and 20-minute high-pressure sales pitch for a membership costing $20,000 (with a $500 annual maintenance fee). This “offer” would increase to $30,000 if we didn’t sign up on the spot. The salesman insisted this was not a timeshare (true—it’s worse, according to my independent research) and used manipulative tactics, such as “special discounts,” if we acted immediately. When we tried to leave, they pressured us to stay with alcohol and guilted us by saying they’d receive bad peer reviews if we walked out. To their credit, the staff eventually honored the promised discounts, but only after delays and uncomfortable interactions when we informed them we weren’t signing up. Beware: If you’re considering staying at Villa del Arco, research Interval International and “vacation memberships” beforehand. This is not just a minor annoyance—it’s a deceptive practice that tarnished an otherwise pleasant stay. Clark Howard has written extensively about these programs, and I recommend reading his insights before considering such offers. In summary, Villa del Arco is a beautiful resort with great potential for a relaxing vacation, but the aggressive sales tactics and hidden pitfalls of the membership push are significant drawbacks. I strongly encourage the resort to rethink this approach, as it leaves a sour impression on guests. If you go, enjoy the property but proceed with extreme caution regarding the so-called “VIP Experience.”

Top notch experience!
We just returned from a 9 day holiday, and it was a fantastic experience. Right from the get-go, check-in was smooth and quick. Our one bedroom suite was clean and spacious. We loved the garden facing suite as it had great views of the Arco and hot tubs that felt private. Our housekeeper, Miriam, was awesome. The food was really good! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet at El Patron. Ivette, at the omlette station, was incredibly sweet and helped me with ordering in Spanish. Elizabeth and Jose were servers that stood out, although everyone was so good to us. We always felt that everyone on staff really cared about us having a good experience. I recommend Neptune for amazing seafood dinners. The hotel was also very accommodating with getting into restaurants that required reservations, which with 2 younger kids (7 &3) was much appreciated. The pools were well laid out, good temperatures and there was a hot tub that was not as hot which the kids spent all day in. The setup is really good if you are coming with kids. Eduardo and Esquival were the best poolside servers, always smiling and happy. Javier was great down at the beach. Chloe, the entertainment leader, was such a pleasure to meet. If you get a chance to see the shows at Palmar, definitely go to the Micheal Jackson show. It blew us away! So good. I like that water sports (kayak and paddleboards) were included in AI. Omar took a group of us out on the paddleboards and was a lot of fun. The beach is swimmable, which was a big plus. The only thing I would change would be to have heat in the rooms. It wasn't cold, but we do like our rooms warmer, and there was no option to heat it up. The gym is really well equipped, better than other resorts I have been to. Checkout was literally 3 minutes. Overall, it was a truly memorable experience and although I enjoy trying different resorts each time, I can definitely see us coming back here. Thank you for the memories, Villa Del Arco!

Enjoyed Our Stay
Villa del Arco is an absolute gem! The property is stunning, immaculately clean, and offers breathtaking views. The staff is kind and attentive, and goes above and beyond to make your stay special. Our spacious suite had everything we needed--a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and comfortable outdoor furniture on our suite deck. The pools were pristine, with plenty of lounge chairs, and the swimmable beach was a daily highlight. During our time over the holidays, we had no problems getting poolside or beach spots, or service. Dining was top-notch and convenient, especially at Neptune, where we had the best meal of our trip. The on-site store was also convenient. Getting around Cabo was easy from the property and affordable with Uber or taxis. For walkers, downtown is a 25-minute walk away. With fantastic amenities like a well-equipped gym, spa, and thoughtful service, Villa del Arco is a true standout. Highly recommended for a wonderful Cabo getaway!
