We had an awesome time
Second time we have stayed at this hotel and it has everything that you will need for your stay in Orlando. The facilities are great, the pool is great, there is a shop, bar, Gym and a Starbucks on site. There isn't a fancy restaurant but there is an area where you can order food both for Breakfast, Dinner and Tea and sit down and eat what you ordered, eat outside or take it back to you room. The choice is not bad and does change daily. However you are not far from fast food outlets and some restaurants which you can walk too. Last time we booked adjoining rooms which was great, this time we thought we would upgrade to a suite ... not really worth it. The room was bigger and had 3 double beds with one in a separate room within the suite. But there was only one small single wardrobe and one toilet and shower, so for 5 adults and one 16 year old, there was often a queue to use them. And without enough wardrobes we found ourselves living out of our suitcases. That aside, we had a good time and the free transport to the universal parks was a blessing. This is our 7th time holidaying in Florida and i am going to do a separate review with my top 10 tips for getting the best from this holiday ... keep a look out on Trip Advisor ... coming soon

Surprised!
I stayed in at Universal's Endless Summer Resort last weekend. It was a last minute decision and was at the lower end of the price options for parks so I gave it a whirl. I was so so surprised by how awesome it was. We had a 2 bedroom suite and ate in the little dining hall area. Food was great, stay was comfy, it was clean, and the staff was helpful. Would recommend others stay there!

The surf was up .......
Surfside Resort was very good. Staff were welcoming and the room was very nice. Clean and functional. Nice little restaurant open all the time, on the pricy side but food was good quality. Starbucks on site was always busy. Great shuttle bus direct to Universal Studios with the hour early admission was a bonus. Good solid choice for budget trip to Universal :-)

Great place to stay, good price and plenty of space!
This hotel was very clean, has a Starbucks in the main lobby, shuttles to the parks every 10 minutes. They have a desk in the lobby that is open from 7am-8pm to help all guests with park questions and assisting in getting tickets/upgrades. Everyone we encountered there was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room had a second bedroom, for a total of 3 queen beds, so we had plenty of space! We overlooked the pool which was such a nice view. We rode Lime scooters down to the I on park area for fun after the parks. We truly enjoyed our time spent there. Only draw back was that you could hear people in the hallway really well, and there were no ceiling fans in the rooms.

Spacious suite at affordable price
We found the 2 bedroom suite to be well worth the price even though there were only 2 of us in that suite. We stayed for 2 weeks so the extra space was appreciated. We stayed at dockside and other family members were at surfside. We loved the heated outdoor pool and enjoyed the bar at poolside. We did find there was a lot of walking, and our room was located quite far from the main lobby, bar, buses and food court. We loved the fact that there were always towels available and the room was kept clean and well supplied. We did find the choices in the food court to be quite limited. However, we enjoyed every meal we had at the many restaurants we visited on the Universal property. The bar area in the main lobby was often too crowded to find a seat, and there are not many seats at the bar itself., but there was adequate seating at tables in front of the food court. The bus service to City Walk and the parks was wonderful. We never had a long wait.
