Not what I expected
We were given a room next to a room that was being renovated. The lat two days were horrible. Room smelled like paint due to the room next door being renovated. Lighting needs to be more option. Too dark at times to do anything in the bathroom area. Toilet is too high.. Before we came i had already prepaid for the Chic show and spa. When I went to the service desk to pay for the added item from the Spa and nightly taxes, they had changed my room $130 for the Chic and caberet show. Had to speak to 3 different service desk empty about having already paid for it because the previous employee never left notes about it being prepaid. Come the day of check out, it was still on my bill so I had to go over the whole scenario to get a zero balance invoice. Good thing I had a screenshot of when I paid for it. We will definitely not be back to any palladium resort. This left a bad taste in our vacation. The only good moment was the spa. Stop exhausting people with the PTC sales pitch. The member who talked to us lost our attention at the first hour. We wasted 2.5 hours of our morning. This is no more than a timeshare sales pitch. We came for vacation not to be in coursed into spending $29000, test you read that right, $29000 for a PTC membership. If you are going to do renovation to a room, don't put guests right next door where they have to smell all the chemicals in there room when it's time to go to bed. Money is paid to have ecomidations not smell renovation aftermath. We complained to our butler about this and of course there was nothing they could do.

Honeymoon
First-time resort goers’ notes: • Staff was excellent, helpful, and very approachable. • The carts are widely reviewed as being hard to get. Yes and no. we did ask butlers, front desk, etc for carts and they’d get one to appear pretty quick. The app’s ride request was a miss 100% of the time unfortunately, so you just hope to run into one if you aren’t near staff. • Zentropia Spa and the Hydrotherapy is a must. Massage leading into the hydrotherapy facility was very nice. Plan on a decent wait for a cart back or wear some comfortable walking shoes lol • Room Service Tacos was the best food on the resort. Ask for the habanero sauce. • Chic Cabaret was so much fun. The audience was super lame which was unfortunate for the great show provided. We had the vegetarian menu - wife really liked it. • Helios was good and reliable. we only did breakfasts & lunch there - The ala carte was always fun to peruse. • El Gaucho and Tentazione’s ambiance was nice. I strayed from my comfort zone and kind of wish i stayed in it lol. • The seaweed is bad, wasn’t surprised, and they do what they can. Just stayed away from that area. • Infinity Pool was ton of fun and you can’t beat that view of the ocean. Recommend getting the photos taken. Only regret was not staying longer. Our second time will be more smooth & looking forward to it.

Just OK
No options for early check in, you just need to wait around until 3pm for check in. The rooms are getting dated, you can see the wear and tear in the tile and woodwork of the rooms, pool area and roadways. It is a solid hour from the airport which can make travel to the resort more expensive.
