Service falls short
This hotel has a lot going for it — the location is excellent, and the boutique feel is stylish and well thought out. It should be a great stay. It is very easy to get an Uber from this location. The only positive was the fact that my room was ready early, this was very much appreciated. I didn't experience noise levels that others described, it was fairly quiet on my floor. Unfortunately, the service experience really missed the mark. The room service menu is extremely limited — no white wine, no dessert options, and a surprisingly small selection overall. My Americano from room service was simply awful. Others commented on this before, but 7 am breakfast start is unacceptable for business travelers. Housekeeping was exceptionally poor: dirty glasses weren’t cleared from the room on any of my 3 days of stay, and nothing was replenished — not even basic coffee supplies. I know that the sheets weren't changed. The Nest bar seemed to be constantly overtaken by events — during my stay, a large group of interns dominated the space, making it impossible for actual guests to enjoy. It felt more like a club venue than a hotel bar. Last note - many people wrote about this but the A/C is a huge issue. I didn't think it would be an issue given the weather in Seattle. However, the room is simply not cold enough, particularly in rooms facing West (there is sun shining directly at your room till 9 pm in the summer - bring masks with you if you are traveling from the East Coast and need an early night). I gave up on the A/C after a day... There’s real potential here, but it’s clear that guest experience isn’t being prioritized — especially for those who actually booked a room. I hope they course-correct, because the property itself deserves better.

Great
The location is great across the street from Pike Market Place. Very nice boutique hotel for your stay. We were in the 7th floor with a view of the ocean, Pike Makret, Farris Wheel, etc. The down side is the room gets a ton of sunlight. The AC was on full blast but didn’t really feel the room cold until sunset. Overall, great despite the AC and Sun Beaming in the room.

Good location, better rooms at different hotels
Room left something to be desired. Paid for a view of the bay and it was amazing! But had a few shortfalls. Thompson is right next to the market and prime location to visit multiple areas easily.

Visit The Restaurant
Oscar inside The Conversation gave us above and beyond service. He was very knowledgeable about the wine selection and made sure everything was perfect. Sophie at the front desk was very welcoming.

Anywhere else is better
This hotel ruined my trip. After driving 4 hours.. i was RUDELY told our room had been given away. The three staff at front desk couldn’t have been more condescending when I asked how that happened when I have paid for the room and it’s confirmed. They sent an email saying check in was at 4pm, . but that didn’t matter either. Two of the front desk people just stared at us abd kept repeating it was full.. and didn’t I understand that. I did explain we were both speaking English.. so yes, I did understand the words—- not the business protocol of stranding your guest when you had the money and we were there in time. One addition- we were in Seattle.. like 70 thousand others— to see Morgan Wallen, so the entire area was sold out of rooms. I get it .. someone obviously came in and asked for a room and offered the front desk more $$ and they have up the room to them — screw the reservation and confirmation. If they had shown one ounce of compassion or even said sorry.. it might have helped, but no.. just condescending bots thats dont care at all. I have stayed at many luxury properties in my life… in fact its my go to. This is not luxury. This is uppity management looking down on you as if you’re not worth the time if day— and they let you know it. Avoid. There’s plenty of excellent options within walking distance.
