The Venetian is impressive. Yes, it’s garish in a way a Las Vegas resort hotel will and should be. Yet, it has some charm. I enjoyed the shoppes, the indoor water, and the faux Piazza San Marcos. All kitschy and fake and wonderful, as they should be! It’s Vegas! Check-in was a breeze because we checked-in online and therefore got to wait in the short line for those who only needed to pick up keys. The general check-in line looked at least an hour long, and I overheard more than one guest berating a hotel working. Folks: keep calm and check in online. Save your angst. It took me a mere 10 minutes to get my key. The room/suite was excellent—ample, well appointed, and super clean. (We recommend that you access the elevators to your room by entering through the shoppes to avoid having to navigate smoking and otherwise careless people who hoard space in the casino.) The cleaning staff are fantastic! They were punctual and fast. Only one hiccup: our toilet was plugged. But that was resolved by maintenance quickly. Thank you! We also enjoyed the pools, and we recommend that you sit poolside in the mornings—before the afternoon crowds. I will add that the baggage service was excellent. Some downsides: we were charged for mini-bar costs we did not incur. The wait time to speak to anyone about it on the phone was staggeringly long. I gave up. I was thus forced to handle this in person at the front desk. The matter was resolved quickly (thank you!) but it took time for which I was paying. Moreover, the water pressure in the shower was quite low. The bath tub is great, mind you, but showers need pressure. Overall, a very good experience.
What happened to the bathrobes??
Been coming to this great resort for over 15 years. Always the place we want to be and the rooms are beautiful, but as we've seen things change and services change, we now also find no bathrobes?? Over the years we've seen service suffer and diminish, and we understand that after Covid, we now have to call for room refreshening, etc., due to staffing issues and that worked great btw, but, sorry to see the robes gone!! Years ago you dissolved the turn down service (which we loved), and the check in process is anything but smooth and sophisticated, but now the robes? What's next?? Little by little all the special things that made us love it here are disappearing....dumbing down or just getting lazy? We miss them and hope they come back along with your excellent service we've looked forward to for many years!!
Worst Resort experience
Although the rooms are nice, you will spend the majority of your stay waiting on LONG LONG LINES! 2 hours to check in, no chairs at the pool, restaurants with no availability and no one to help accommodate. Our safe didn’t work, the cable TV was “spotty”, garbage left in hallways. When I complained (after waiting on yet another line) I was told “ I apologize but nothing can be done” I wouldn’t recommend staying here ever!
Very clean and spacious rooms.
Great location and very nice rooms. A bit crowded, especially the pool area. Great restaurants and shopping areas. If you ask for a room with a view make sure it has a nice view. We upgraded to a suite with view, however it was the view of a building under construction.
With all the respect why you charging resort fee specially on COVID-19 time. It’s not fair to charge $45 for service most of visitors not using best way do same like we enter elavetor this way any one whose use facility’s will be charge resort fee I am not the only one getting apcet hope you work on it
