Just OK
The location is wonderful. Views are amazing. Had partial view of ocean. Take the breakfast option when reserving room. Well worth it. Cross 1 street and you are on beach. Nice pool. Negatives: charge a resort fee of $63/day on top of room rates. This is NOT a resort. Just a hotel with pool and restaurant. Parking fees HIGH. Rooms dated, old. Ours smelled MUSTY. Thermostat in room fixed so you couldn't change settings. Pool advertised as only open till 8. Order drink at pool and they auto charge 18%

Filthy, and fraudulently charge smoking fee for non smokers
Filthy and fraudulent! Other than a good view, nothing is good about this place! Even for location, this hotel is NOT on the beach, there is beach, street, then the hotel! Now with the good part out of the way, here comes the nightmare. It's 5 start price (all in all, we paid over 500/night, and the facility is. 30$ motel level! There's a sofa bed, we are supposed to pull out for 2 people. When we checked in, and pulled the bed out, I almost through up! It is so filthy, and full of bugs. We immediately called front desk and they sent a guy in, he was shocked too! So we asked them to give us 2 roll beds. That really groused us out! There is no desk or chair in the room. hot water pot was so cheap plastic. There is no tea bags, coffee tasted awful! Then when we checked out, I found they charged us $500 smoking fee, while no one in our family is smoker or ever smoked in the room or balcony! They refuse to take it out as we are checking out, as they know we have no time to resolve this fraud charge as we have to leave for airport! One advice: STAT AWAY FROM THIS scam PLACE LIKE A PLAQUE!

So kann man sich Gäste auch vergraulen
We stayed here for 11 nights, and the hotel was actually OK in terms of cleanliness and service. However, in the pool area, we were rather rudely told that the umbrellas and loungers weren't allowed to be moved. This meant we couldn't get enough shade, even though we were already sunburned. The pool attendant commented that we were in Hawaii, and we should expect some sun. This has never happened to me before, and hence my negative review. The hotel management urgently needs to change this.

Great location. Old and outdated, but the location makes up for it.
Excellent location. Everything we needed was in walking distance or a block from public transport. We had a partial ocean view from our room on the 7th floor. The room was old and dated, air con very noisy and pitiful water pressure in the shower, however the bed and pillows were so soft and comfy. They only made up our room every second day. Pool towels available, small pool, but plenty of seating and shade. Great restaurant and bar near the pool. The service on check in was long and nothing special. We did have a great stay here, but it was mostly for the location.

WORST PLACE EVER
The best part of my stay was the pool and restaurant staff, however that is where it ends. The rooms are filthy, the bathroom was covered in hair, dust and ants, bugs were found in our bed and the carpet was stained all over. Security banged on our door several times one night (before we had chance to get out of bed even) to say our smoke alarms had been set off, he came in and could smell burning plastic which we too could smell & he advised this was from our adapters as he had this issue before. We unplugged them and he told us he had saved us $500, which at the time we found rude because how we were to know that? We had brought the correct adapters from the airport. We could then smell the burning through the aircon unit so called front desk who then swapped our room. The night we get into our new room, the same happens again, but this time they are refusing to wave the fee and are essentially not listening to our VALID reason that we also gave them the night before and they were aware of? We have tried to complain, however they have no complaint forms, we have spoken to the general manager who is nothing but rude and very patronising and wouldn’t listen to the explanation given and is refusing to give us the $500 fee back for this, on top of the already extortionate resort fee - which FYI it is not a resort. I have resulted in contacting their management company and reporting to my bank as they simply take the money from your bank without even consulting you on it. Honestly really put a dampener on our honeymoon, supposed to be the holiday of a lifetime and instead met by money grabbers. DO NOT GO HERE. I will update on this!!!!!
