    Curiosity Satisfied

Going to Vegas during a pandemic? I must be nuts. Well, perhaps however I felt perfectly safe. I had found a deal for the STRAT (formerly the Stratosphere) that I couldn't pass up. I had been curious in the past and I didn't know what to expect, especially with the pandemic. I arrived at the STRAT and was greeted by the Valet attendant. Once I went to check-in my temperature was taken and there were hand sanitizing stations all over the casino floor. I checked in and (FYI: the $20 trick doesn't work here). I actually had the $20 handed back to me. I did however receive the amenity that I requested without being charged. I found my room to be clean and comfortable and housekeeping was very accommodating. One constant during my stay at the STRAT was the property was kept clean. With two exception the customer service was excellent. The first was when I had lunch at PT's Wings and Sports the food was excellent however the service was mediocre. The second came after I checked out. I had asked for a receipt to be emailed to me however it never was. I also had breakfast at the STAT Cafe one morning and while the service was excellent, the pancakes were dry. Overall I would highly consider staying at the STRAT again, as what they lack in amenities they make up in service.

    Amazing stay

Me and my husband decided to just hope on a plane and come to Vegas or anniversary is Wednesday. We started off at another hotel and it was horrible. I made other arrangements and we switched to Strat and it was literally when you walk in the environment is different. Great customer service, great communication if we needed anything and check ins from Ivy. Just amazing! I even won some money. Thank you Strat for such an amazing experience.

    Drug infested

The location is horrible. It’s drug addicts everywhere. My first room looked like a cheap motel room. I was moved to a second room which was a little better. Only a little. The place across the street is probably where the homeless stay. NEVER AGAIN will I stay there. It is not on the strip.

Don't be fooled by low prices.

If you like the smell of pot then you will LOVE the Strat. Every floor reeks of it. The doors slam loudly all night due to no silentsers on them. No fridge. No coffee pot. No micro. The rooms don't even have a list of chanels for the tv. Don't be taken in by the remodel hype either. Our beds were clean and comfortabl but the shower needed to be steam cleaned. The price lured me in though the added resort fees were steep. Covid has all of Vegas changed but this places Covid Cops were a bit annoying. The surrounding area having road work done all around it so getting to the valet and self park areas are a hassel. LOTS of run down flea bags across the street. Don't go to the 7-11 located behind the strat. It is infested with low lives. The amenities prices always have added fees too.
