The casino is spacious and relaxing; unfortunately, not very exciting. Decent food options. Most of the excitement of the hotel is toward the top of the property (ie the rides). Good place if you're looking for quiet.
Birthday Bash 2020
I want to share my experience about my stay @ The Strat! My check-in was rather rude. The guy down graded my room and stuck me in a corner room in the old part of the hotel right above the restaurant! I thought ok fine I just want to sleep long flight. I get to my room and it was in excellent condition for it being the old part of the hotel. I called in a request to have the the electrical outlet checked as it sparked more than once. Never heard back from anyone, and got a text for complimentary buffet for my to cover dinner 2 nights, went to use it and the cashier took both comps for 1 night dinner. I most certainly am glad that upon check out they didn't come up with more bogus stuff to charge me for. I enjoyed Vegas despite the poor lack luster hospitality team at the check-in desk. They might want to relook at more training staff and them being more hospitable driven, rather than sales and commission driven. What a waste of property to have all those amenities and rude staff. Birthday was still a blast thanks to all the other attractions in Vegas💃💃
best in Vegas
Newly renovated by the new owner. Superb rooms, super pools (7 of them) and 1 roof top European (top less) pool adults only. Super well situated, on the strip and minutes from Fremont street. absolutely best hotel in Las Vegas, period.
Excellent job on the remodel.
It has been a few year since my last visit, so I do not know when the remodel was done. However, the casino floor has been updated nicely and the sports book looks very inviting. The (now) Strat is my go to place when visiting LV, always recommend. The room was freshly cleaned, only negative was with party of 4 had only 3 towel sets. Housekeeping quickly fixed that. I did not partake much within the hotel because I was there on the weekend before LV shut down for Covid19. Will return when I can.
Great place to stay , with grest prices and staff,it had good food the people were friendly the food was fresh. Also it had a pool with a gym which made it more enjoyable for my family to have things to do while we were there.
