Hello! I wanted to let you know that Francisco Perez at the Royal Sonesta in the Galleria is outstanding! We had stayed at another nearby hotel 6 months ago. This stay at the Royal Sonesta was fantastic! Francisco did a wonderful job of taking care of our folks during our large conference. Everyone was able to relax and felt super taken-care-of! Francisco was there to help us throughout the evenings and we had a wonderful time!! He checked on us throughout the evening and ensure that everyone was taken care of – he is a true professional focused on customer service!!

Breakfast
We had a fantastic experience at the breakfast buffet, thanks to Alma! She went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our meal, checking in with a warm smile and great attention to detail. Her friendly attitude made our morning even better! If you’re visiting, be sure to ask for the chocolate chip pancakes! Thank you, Alma, for your wonderful service!

Best staff around!
Alma, a waitress in the hotel restaurant, is the best! She greated us each morning with a warm smile and kind words. She was attentive and very personable. Having a great interaction at 7:30 in the morning started the whole day off right. Thank you Alma! The valet staff was great, kind and efficient, they also had very kind and respectful interactions each time we called for the car. I do believe this hotel has some of the kindest people in TX working for them!

Exceptional Service
Paulino with the valet was unbelievable! He made my stay extra special and provided an exceptional service that made me feel like I was the only one he was serving. I will stay here every time I'm in Houston cause I know they'll treat me like a VIP.

Mar 10, 2025Very helpful staff, very clean and lovely rooms
Stayed 1 night room was lovely, little noise because we were close to the road but that's easily sorted . United Airlines lost one of our bags and the girl on the desk at check-in ( Lala) couldn't have been more understanding and so helpful the next morning as we tried to make our way back to the airport to retrieve the bag as we had a cruise to make the same day , Lala was so helpful so a big thank you to her. Hotel is clean,central and I'd definitely stay again .
