What a great place!
What a great place! Even after a week we didn't have time to do everything. Beautify maintained with fantastic employees . Even after American Airlines totally screwed up our luggage the people at the Royal at Paradise island took care of it :) The river raft ride was awesome. I could have done it ten times. Maybe the best place we've ever been as a family.
Love the Royal beach and the snorkeling at the ruins. The Adventure Park was fun as well! For the most park, the staff was friendly. Only con was the food was very expensive. The restaurants you can easy spend up to $150-200 just for 3 people. The grab and go is very expensive too due ti VAT tax and automatic added gratuity to the check.
Trip of a lifetime
We stayed in a room with a view from the balcony of the harbour and it was so lovely to sit outside and just relax. Room was very spacious and had a fridge and coffee pot. Bathroom was large with a separate toilet. We had 3 adults staying in the room and there was ample space for cases, bags, etc. I had read so many negative reviews that I regretted booking, but I am so glad I did, it was a wonderful hotel and we loved going to the lazy river and the pool every day . Now the negatives, yes the food is expensive, but so is everywhere now. Some of the staff were not very friendly, but it was made up with some very nice ones. The lady who looked after our room had such a big smile every day I think her name was Valla (?). I think if you go with the mindset that it is going to be an expensive vacation you will not be disappointed. Would certainly go back again.
The hotel it’s really beautiful, one of the best hotels ever, we had a good time it was so much fun. I love the restaurants, bar, casino pools I think they’re the best part. I’m a little bit concerned about the people who work there, they’re are kind of rude with the guess which is not acceptable, they aren’t polite enough and most of them don’t give you a smile they are always serious like if they don’t like you’re there, specially for people who works at restaurants omg that was bad we ate in on restauran that was closed to the casino tus Asian food I don’t remember the name but the girls who was taking care of us didn’t gave us a good service, I don’t know her name I didn’t take the time to ask for it but it wasn’t a good service, I‘be been working for hospitality many year in very important brands of hoteles and I can tell that the employees really need a course how to treat and be polite with their guests, im just upset about it. Anyways, the only stuff that I really appreciated was the bellboys what a guys, always with a good sense of humor, they look very happy and they helped me with my shuttle transportation it wasn’t on time and they were very sorry about it and helped me to find out a solution. Very good guys. They river guys also are nice I really enjoy talked with them a little bit. Olive resultant have a really good stuff, their waiters are so nice. The housekeeper very polite as well we walked trough the hall and they always have nice words for us since “good morning”or “have a wonderful day”. The hoteles it’s beautiful just need to work hard in your employee’s service.
The Royal in Atlantis was great. The staff is so friendly and there is so much to do. You really need 5 or 6 days to enjoy most of what the Royal has to offer. We are definitely going back. If you have kids, this is a perfect resort and it is close to everything.
