I was robbed by a cartel here . They operated with hotel staff. They surrounded me at the pool area and said I worked for someone else . They threatened to kidnap me and dismember me. I told them I don’t work for anyone else and they didn’t believe it. They stole my money and let me out into the streets and said if I said something they would find and kill me

"Not all inclusive..... Just all-Inconvenient"
I am someone who travel a lot especially to all inclusive resorts an I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at the Grand Oasis Cancun All Inclusive was incredibly disappointing. If I could give it less then 1 star I would. We were so disappointed with Grand Oasis Cancun. Rooms are outdated, and the bathroom was unsafe -- the shower was broken and we had to call to get it fixed. Yes they came up and fixed it within 20 minutes but it should have not been this way. The tub is so high it was hard to get out. It has a half glass that the water leaks out and gets everything wet that you could slip and fall unsafe. Restaurants were limited by bracelet color which we where never told and the restaurant we needed reservations for was always full. Which left us with no choice but to go to the buffett where the food was bland with little variety. We couldn't even get ice cream because of the color bracelet we had. We were sent somewhere else--already closed my son was so dissapointed. Beach towels were nearly impossible to get. Some staff were nice. other rude and bothered because you asked them a question or asked for help with something. Birds constantly hovered over the outside dining area, one scared my son so badly he dropped his food. Entertainment was minimal and underwhelming. Worst part? They pushed us into a 90 minutes tour that turned into a 3 hour of hard selling membership. I would never buy into this hotel. I would go on but could only write but so much here. This is NOT truly all inclusive. Save your money! Very disappointing experience -- Not worth it. Wouldn't recommend to others.

I would give ZERO stars if I could
All-IN-clusive of disappointment! The entire resort operated on a level of chaos that would make a clown convention look organized. I spent half my vacation wandering around trying to find basic amenities and no one knew anything. The staff is misinformed at its highest level. The drinks were another level of awful. The most undrinkable concoctions were being served. Don't ask for wine because is not included anywhere except the buffet. The inclusive part meant inclusive of lukewarm mystery meat at every meal and watered down cocktails that tasted vaguely of fruit and regret. We ended up paying more to upgrade our bracelet with promises of better service and more options. Man were we wrong! Save your money and don't waste your time coming to this awful place. A vacation ruined for us. Enjoyed NOTHING at this place.

Asco de lugar, disrespect to the fullest scammers
⭐ DO NOT STAY HERE — THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM ⭐ This is hands-down the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had. If you’re thinking of booking here — don’t. It’s not just bad, it’s disrespectful, dirty, corrupt, and built around scamming tourists. ⸻ 🚫 CHECK-IN IS A NIGHTMARE You’ll wait in line forever, just to be bounced around from person to person. We were sent to VIP check-in after waiting 2 hours, then denied service. Nobody knows what they’re doing, and no one cares. They just waste your time and pass you around until you give up. ⸻ 🤢 ROOMS ARE FILTHY AND A JOKE • Toilet had pee all over the seat • Mini bar was empty, but they tried to charge us to “refill” it • We paid for an ocean view and got a view of palm trees When we asked for basic things like plates for coffee? They said NO — and literally asked “What do you need them for?” ⸻ 💩 STAFF IS RUDE AND UNTRAINED They act like they’re doing you a favor for staying there. Worst part? We caught them talking about scamming us in Spanish, assuming we didn’t speak it. Said things like: “Cóbrenles más” (“Charge them more”) — right in front of us. Staff insult guests, refuse help, and treat you like dirt. One literally told us: “I’m not your worker” when we moved a chair. ⸻ ⚠️ THE ELEVATOR IS A SAFETY HAZARD It literally drops a level if too many people use it. Also: no inspection certification posted. ⸻ 🚖 TAXI SCAM & UBER BAN They block Uber from entering so they can push overpriced taxis. • Tried to charge us 2,000 pesos ($100) for an airport ride • When we refused, they said: “Chingues a tu madre” • We had to walk to the street with my elderly mother-in-law to get a $15 Uber Even worse? They were using walkie-talkies to tell staff to charge us more because we “seemed desperate.” ⸻ 🕒 CHECKOUT SCAM • Came down at 6:30 AM for a 7 AM airport shuttle • One room allowed express checkout, the other wasn’t • No one was helped until 7:05 AM — after the shuttle left • Staff told us to talk to the taxi guy instead 🙄 This happened to many families — people were stranded, nearly missed flights. Clearly intentional. ⸻ 💳 CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD They’ll try to double-charge you. Don’t trust a single transaction — check everything. ⸻ ❌ BOTTOM LINE: DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. This place is a scam hotel run by unqualified, rude, and shady staff. The service is trash. The rooms are dirty. The whole operation is built to take your money and give you nothing in return. ✅ Stay at Krystal or Riu — they’re just down the road and 100x better. This place? It should be shut down and bulldozed.

Hire better staff, it would be a 5 star hotel and people would come back!
We gotten a free room upgrade from the ocean view to the ocean front junior suite. Very great start, we are husband and husband and we’re black, so trying to find where we are most comfortable is a challenge depending on staff. We had a black band so that means we have access to most if not all. The stayed 7days 6nights, so far it’s the most we have ever spent to stay in Mexico. We were happy with the luxuries & comfort with the stay, it always comes to the staff/people. For example the older heavy set bartender located right next to the wooden huge blue chair, hid the josé cuervo gold from me and my husband and said something like “we are all out” then after speaking up cause we watched him hide the bottle, he then gave us the drink. Right after us someone walked up and asked for the same shot we asked for and he got bottle tricks and a double shot on top of that with ease. Another night we were at the disco/club and my husband had on a sleeveless shirt the heavy set man again looked at my husband ran from behind the counter and told security, who actually let us in cause its a line to get into the club. We gotten kicked out, had to leave to walk to the room and then come back with a sleeve on and yes inside that club was very very hot! This night made me feel uncomfortable because it was because our sexuality and possibly our skin color, its cause my husband wears makeup it was just the only way for the man to not serve him. After the club we were famished and decided to go search for some food; to see what restaurants are still open late night around 12:00am. We found the main food hall, this is the first night we ate late. We grabbed our plates and headed to the food. The fries were fresh out the grease but we noticed it was a spot missing for hopefully something that goes with the fries and sure enough, the chicken wings just rolled out the kitchen. We were excited cause we were the first and only ones up there, it took longer than usual to put the trey up under the heated light, so we asked him can we get some chicken. He then said “oh not yet” he just had the chicken sitting there not covered and getting cold. After getting restless from waiting we then proceeded to our table and chair, then we noticed a white couple asking for the chicken then he put it out immediately. We then got up walked over to the other side of the room and got the chicken we wanted but i decided to snap a picture to then share my experience with the world. We spent way too much to be treated like we are begging to eat whats already been paid for 5,000 times over!! The shows at night were incredible, the hotel is always clean, the young lady by the snack bar that serve the chicken, fries and nachos on the days June 16-21 was always friendly and never gave us a difficult time to eat same thing with the tacos the young man was nice too. The two males behind the bar in the Piano bar/ lounge inside of the pyramid building were our favorite bar not only cause it was mostly premium drinks but because we were treated like guests at the hotel every time we walked in. The Japanese restaurant was the best restaurant on the grounds. The ambiance and the service were always top notch and the food was the best as well. We now love sushi alongs it’s cooked lol. We went there twice its giving 5 start restaurant hands down!
