Fantastic Family Weekend at The Hythe, Vail
Our family loved our stay at The Hythe! The room was spacious with beautiful mountain views, and the kids enjoyed the heated pool while we relaxed at the spa. The on-site dining was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond, helping us plan activities like ice skating and tubing. The location near Vail Village was perfect, and the complimentary shuttle made getting around easy. A perfect mix of comfort, luxury, and family-friendly service—we’ll definitely be back!

Outstanding customer service!
John Little was by far the most the most friendly and helpful person I have dealt with in a very long time. He went above and beyond my expectations to help me make sure my wife had a perfect welcome gift in her room before she arrived. Thanks John!

An easy choice!
The Hythe Vail is conveniently located in Lionshead, just a very short walk from the little town area and gondola. It was very easy to put our ski boots on and walk right to the slopes! The restaurant was great, and we especially loved the Steak Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup. The spa was also a highlight. My therapist Leo was delivered a perfect massage treatment after a long day of skiing. No complaints, and look forward to another visit!

Perfect Thanksgiving ski weekend at The Hythe
Really perfect Thanksgiving weekend at The Hythe for our family. Great snow in Vail of course added to the joy but the hotel was really perfect. From Michelle at the front desk to Chris the concierge everyone was splendid. The breakfast buffet is full and fresh and the hotel renovations have provided tons of space to gather and mingle on both the 1st and 2nd floors. Great hot tubs, well equipped gym, easy access to the mountain…it’s become our go to Vail hotel and we will be back. Our only minor quibble would be that the price of the hotel Thanksgiving buffet was a tad excessive but that was the only flaw. Looking forward to another trip in March.

Underwhelming
This was my first stay at a Luxury Collection property, and frankly, I expected more. Yes, the property looks amazing and has a great vibe. However, the level of service didn’t match our expectations. Understand that we are not the typical, target clientele for this property. We are a hard working middle class couple from rural Ohio who really extended ourselves to experience this resort. We took advantage of off season rates to celebrate our anniversary in a special way. Unfortunately, nothing else was priced for the off season. $60 valet parking. $50 resort fee. Expensive dining. Expensive spa services. We could have easily spent 2-3x our room rate in incidentals. Off season should be off season discounts across the board. I never did get a clear indication as to what the resort fee was offering me. Overall, the service was lackluster. No one went out of their way to make us They feel welcome or special. The staff seemed very cold and dismissive.
