Oct 13, 2024Our fantastic holiday at the Fives Beachfront!
We stayed for 12 days and at check in we upgraded to the beachfront which was the best decision we could have made. We had a fantastic room on the front looking out to sea. A special mention goes to Jasmine, Diego and the management team for helping to make our holiday so amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was very clean and we had fresh towels every day. The food in the hotel was fantastic with so much choice. Rich had the ‘Catch of the day’ eating lobster by the pool and thought he was in heaven! The room service was great too (especially the burgers!) The service from the bar staff and the waiters was outstanding and we would like to give a special mention to Kev, Eric and Kileme! We enjoyed our stay so much that we intend to come back in September 2025! Many thanks Deb & Rich The Mars Family!

Our fantastic holiday at the Fives Beachfront!
We had a 12 day holiday at the Fives and upgraded when we arrived to the Beachfront. This was the the best decision that we could have made. All staff at the Beachfront couldn't do enough. A particular mention goes to Jazmine, Diego and the management team who were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in room right on the seafront looking out to sea! The bed was extremely comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding with fresh towels replaced every day. We can highly recommend the room service too ( especially the burgers!). The food at the hotel was fantastic with so much choice. Rich enjoyed 'Catch of the day' eating lobster by the adults only pool, he thought he was in heaven! Another mention goes to the brilliant bar staff and waiters - Kev, Eric, and Kileme. We will definitely be returning and hope to be back in September 2025! Many thanks, Deb & Rich - The Mars Family!!

September Wedding 2024
We recently had our destination wedding at The Fives Beaches in Playa del Carmen, and it was beyond perfect! From the moment we arrived, the resort’s beautiful setting and welcoming atmosphere made us feel like we were in paradise. The location is stunning—white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and lush greenery everywhere. It was the perfect backdrop for our big day. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding coordinators, Mar and Barbara. They were truly incredible, managing every detail with such care and professionalism. From the planning stages to the wedding day itself, they were always available, responsive, and made the entire process stress-free. Every concern or question we had was met with immediate and thoughtful responses. The ceremony and reception exceeded our expectations. The décor was exactly what we envisioned, and the staff at the resort went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless. Our guests were equally impressed with the exceptional service, delicious food, and the overall ambiance of the day. If you’re considering a destination wedding in Mexico, I cannot recommend The Fives Beaches and the team, especially Mar and Barbara, enough. They made our dream wedding come true, and we are forever grateful!

Great place for a destination wedding or beautiful getaway
We had a wonderful experience to celebrate our wedding with friends and family! This is our second visit to The Fives and they did not disappoint. The staff is incredible. They are so nice and so accommodating. The wedding package (Sweet Love) was perfect for us. Every time we turned around, there was something special for us in celebration of our wedding. There are so many restaurants and activities so all of our guests had plenty to do. The day of our wedding Mar and Isa made sure that everything stayed on schedule and that we had everything we needed. Every detail was expertly carried out, and they even took care of one of our guests who was not feeling well. The choices they gave us for vendors and options for the venues were outstanding. Our day would not have been as perfect without DJ Cricket and MC Carlos. They took all of our music, suggestions and lists and turned it into pure gold. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the resort was and how beautiful our wedding was. We could not have done it without the entire team at The Fives. Special thanks to Mar for answering all of our questions and being with us entire day and checking in to make sure everything was going as planned. We highly recommend this venue and this team!

Top notch experience
Had 2 weddings within 2 weeks. Very large groups. Both were beautifully done with only minor hiccups despite some weather challenges. Wedding department team was terrific. Our stay was with fabulous staff like Roman the shuttle driver, Pablo the pool waiter, Francisco in lobby, giving and Lisbeth in concierge. Mexican Fiesta show and activities were amazing. Room are spacious and housekeepers work hard. My one con would be that the kitchen is useless. No pots/pans/utensils/plates/bowls/sponges/dishsoap/kitchen towels/ NOTHING. And you can't take leftover from restaurants.
