    Beautiful and Pampering

    Our recent stay at the Don CeSar was extraordinary in every way. The best part of this exceptional stay was the staff. Everyone was beyond wonderful! The front desk staff could not have been better. Johnson, the interim manager, was the best of the best!

    Stayed for our wedding

    Stunning resort, beautiful, clean and well kept. Loved the beach and the lounge chairs that the staff would set up for you. Easy and convenient. The majority of the staff were friendly with the exception of the bar tender who was extremely rude for no reason.

    Simply sensational

    We stayed at the Don CeSar due to an unexpected flight cancellation due to COVID19.... needless to say we will be heading back! The hotel is BY FAR the best in St petes and is almost like stepping onto a film set. We stayed during a strange time as the area was put into lock down yet the hotel still managed to cultivate its amazing atmosphere. The hotel manager, Jackson, was just wonderful and you could tell how much he cared for his hotel and the guests. He was there In his suit in 30 degrees c and was cleaning door handles himself and checking on guests. We were travelling with our 8 month old baby and all of the staff did all they could to make our stay most enjoyable. Second thanks to Rebecca in the spa who was just the most lovely and welcoming spa therapist. We will definitely be heading back , I virtually cried as we left!!!

    Zero customer service

    I actually had a good stay however when leaving my car had damage on the front end. Their security person wrote up a report and told me I would be contacted within three business days. That was the 12th and I have not heard from anyone. I have called the claim person and left half a dozen messages with no response. Nice hotel but zero regard for conflict resolution.

    What a place!

    My husband and I took a last minute trip to St Pete Beach, had never been to the area and knew nothing about the Don, just happened upon it. The hotel is stunning, the architecture, the pink color, the palm trees, the location on the beach. They had two nice pool options, a big hot tub, and chairs on the beach that we could watch the sunset every nite! We had breakfast in the hotel every morning which was lovely. The lobby bar was fun, Mikey the bartender was AMAZING! She was my favorite part of the trip, she was so nice, along with the other staff. Only reason I didn't give five stars was that we kept running into one person on the bell staff that wasn't helpful, didn't take our luggage or hold the door open when we brought our own luggage in to check in. Everyone else was super nice. Our room was also very small, understand with it being an old hotel. The bathroom was so small that my knees literally hit the bathtub when I sat on the toilet, b/c I am six foot tall. I had to turn sideways, so that was less than desirable. Glad I got to experience this hotel.
