Jeff, employee that must be recognized
As a corporate flight attendant, I am responsible to purchase groceries to cook onboard. During my business trip at Atlantis, I was carrying 5 heavy bags uphill towards the Coral entrance, under the hot sun. Jeff an employee of the resort saw me struggling and walked fast towards me not only help me, but he took all the 5 bags and walked all the bag to the Royal tower where I was staying. Jeff’s attentiveness, demeanor and kindness was above and beyond what I believe his duties are. Atlantis management should be very proud of Jeff, for such a caring and outstanding representative of the resort.

The Royal is where it's at (and so is Dremaine!)!
This is our second year in a row going to the Bahamas and staying at Atlantis. Last year we stayed at The Reef at Atlantis and this year we stayed at The Royal. While both hotels were amazing, we far preferred The Royal due to its proximity to everything (our group has 3 active kids). Everyone was extremely friendly and we were even upgraded at check in to an AMAZING suite. Unfortunately, on our first full day of vacation, my husband hurt him self in a random (no one's fault) freak accident. The response from the hotel staff, in particular Dremaine (the manger) was top notch! Dremaine continued to check in with my husband daily, even stopping by to ensure we didn't need anything. To say that his care and concern went above and beyond is an understatement!! We will definitely go back!

Not Worth It
Overall, horrible service, nothing much to do in the evenings for families with kids, not many restaurant options, food wasn't that great, overpriced for what you get. The pools and the beach were great, the resort is beautiful, but that's it. No need to be there for more than 2 days because in 2 days you would have done it all and still would have spent a fortune of extremely expensive food and drinks with side of very rude service staff.

Fabulous and Relaxing Trip
My daughter and I visited Atlantis in April as a Sweet Sixteen trip. We spent five days and four nights. From start to finish, it was a fabulous and memorable trip. Every single person we encountered was kind, friendly, and professional. We stayed at the Royal Tower West. We had dinners at Paranza, Nobu, Café Martinique, and Field Trip. We got ice cream at Shake Shack and Ben and Jerry’s and snacks at the grab and go. On our last day, we had a delicious lunch at Sip Sip. We swam with the dolphins at Dolphin Cay, went to the Junkanoo parade, enjoyed the Aquaventure Water Park (especially the rapids river and slide that goes into the shark tunnel), and went to three different beaches. We loved walking through the Marina Village each night. In fact, we enjoyed walking around the entire resort. Every single person we encountered was friendly, professional and asked about our time so far at the resort. Majestic Transfers picked us up from he airport and brought us back. The company was professional and sent us a limo each time. We are so sad that our trip is over and we are already talking about when we can return to Atlantis with the entire family.

Top notch resort
The Royal in Atlantis is a wonderful experience for the entire family. Casino, shopping, water slides, pools, beach, and excellent restaurants. The entire staff was very pleasant and were always available. Unfortunately I was injured on the second day there. The hotel manager Dramaine was the first on the scene providing first aid and comfort while we waited on the ambulance. He checked on me daily to make sure i was comfortable and gave me his personal phone number in case I needed anything. We are home now and Dramaine has kept in touch to ensure I was healing well and the family was happy. I highly recommend the Royal. 5 stars.
