I recently checked into Staybridge after entering the room I found it to be horrible. I had to check out, cleanliness you would think would be of high priority right now. I travel a lot but I will not be staying at Staybridge Omaha anymore I really like staying there.
Adequate if you are traveling with animals
I can't think of another reason to stay at this hotel. If you are concerned about Covid 19 and cleanliness this is not the place for you. Or if you must stay here due to its proximity to your needs - bring cleaning supplies and disinfecting wipes. I am very glad I did. The front desk staff does not wear masks, but the housekeeping did. most of the guests I encountered were also not wearing masks and not practicing social distancing. I was traveling with cats, so i felt as if I couldn't be too choosy. I listed my home and needed to be away. They were well behaved and we left the room cleaner than we found it. I was grateful to be able to vacate early and not have to stay another night. The dishes in my room had caked food on them, there was trash from the last guest, the carpets were stained and frayed. There were obvious handprints on the closet & bathroom doors. The couch lacked support. I wanted to just suspend in the air while I was there, it was not a relaxing experience. It was also very loud whenever anyone speaks in the highway and doors close very loudly. I will say it is clear they are not doing anything above and beyond to protect their guests from the pandemic beyond closing amenities.
We stayed here previously and where happy. Unfortunately, we wont be returning after this stay. Our room was gross. Crumbs on the kitchen counter, food stuck to the cooktop. Couch and desk chair so dirty that we put sheets down before sitting on them. The shades have stuff splattered on them. Obvious they just swept/mopped the middle of tile flooring. Hair, crumbs, and hair holder along the edge of the bathrooms. They are supposed to be doing extra cleaning for COVID-19-yea right. I brought Clorox wipes and wiped everything down that we could and tried not to touch as much as possible. Didnt say anything to the staff as I didnt want them coming in when I already wiped it down.
Great customer service
I want to first say that we were unable to stay at this hotel because our event was cancelled due to the Coronavirus. I called the hotel after the 12:00 noon cancellation time (3:00pm)in the day of our arrival. I was briefly placed on hold and then told that there was no problem that they completely understand and would process a full refund for our 2 night stay. Staybridge has created a loyal customer!!
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!
I stayed here a bit ago and I have to say it was a very pleasant stay. The room was clean the halls and surrounding rooms were quiet and the staff were very helpful. Especially Buffy, you can tell she really cares about the guests and makes sure they are happy and comfortable. She made the check in processes a breeze and handled anything we needed she really helped make the entire experience wonderful.
