Baby Moon was amazing!
We spent a couples of days celebrating our baby moon! First I must say the property is beautiful! As soon as you arrive you feel welcomed. The check in was great and the staff are wonderful! Special thank you to Chris Valet/Bellman, Sandy Front Desk and Jennessy( might be misspelled, sorry) at the pool! The only reason I gave 4 out of 5, is the hiccups with In room dining. We ordered a Caribbean Club and requested No avocado and it had the avocado. We did not pay much attention to that time but on the second night we requested the same and again they put in the avocado and we requested fruit instead of fries, we got fries. We called to at least get the fruit and a couple of bottles of water but the bottles did not arrive just the fruit. That was the only disappointment. But the rooms are spectacular, the service amazing and their beautiful pool! You will love staying here! Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality!
Perfect relaxing weekend
With this pandemic event, if you are looking for relaxing yourself and your family this is the place to visit. Nice service, awesome rooms, clean, beatiful beach, golf course, kayak, bicycles all what you need to be relax...
Absolutely extraordinary! The staff and facilities were outstanding!
My family stayed here for almost 1 month in almost total isolation and it was Fantastic. Our room opened ONTO the beach, so there was no need to go anywhere else. We came to PR for the best beaches in an isolated setting (Bahia Beach) and we got that! Restaurant was very good, the entire property seemed absolutely sterile. They were very strict with the masks and we were so happy to see this. I guess this is why Bahia Beach (& the St. Regis had zero cases of Covid). Well Done and the hospitality was totally off the charts.
Perfect COVID Get-Away
St. Regis was the perfect COVID get-away, even though the beach and pool were closed, the Bahia property has tons to explore and beautiful to simply relax. Even though we live in Puerto Rico, the St. Regis felt as though we traveled far to experience luxury. Included in our stay were bikes and kayaks, and swimming in the lake. Food and drinks were average for resort-restaurants. Staff was great.
Trying their best under tough circumstances
This is a beautiful property. One of the most stunning we've seen in our extensive travels. The 1 bedroom/2 bathroom oceanfront suite was comfortable, luxurious and updated. The open shower and soaking tub are amazing! We had a ground level unit with a beautiful view of the ocean through the palm trees and sea grapes. Under normal circumstances, this hotel would have been perfection. The reality is that they're having to operate under pandemic circumstances, which makes everything more complicated for them and their staff. Any stay there has to be seen through that lens and understood. Only one restaurant is open. They seem understaffed but are doing their best to serve customers. Though your food might take longer, it is delicious. The pool service is slow. Again, they are understaffed and everything is made harder with masks, gloves and distancing. You'll have to make a reservation at the gym; that might be an inconvenience but it's for your own safety. It's true that the Boat House facilities are limited (the bouncy water feature was closed) - but you'll have kayaks, paddle boats, etc. Our kids were initially disappointed but ended up loving kayaking around the interior water. All of this is to say that you have to check your 5-star expectations when you enter the property. We're in the middle of a global pandemic! But, they're doing their best to provide top knotch service. And for the most, they're accomplishing that. A special shout-out to Yarisa for providing exceptional personalized service to our family. She worked tirelessly to assist us with everything ranging from restaurant bookings, to boarding pass print-out to anything whatsoever on the property. It's a beautiful place. Enjoy!
