    Excellent space; not very clean

We recently stayed at this hotel. The check in process felt safe and clean. The layout & space of the room was wonderful. We chose this room because we were visiting with family and wanted to be able to social distance as much as possible. When we arrived we set out cleaning with disinfecting wipes and spray. First off, there was no toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher or dishwashing soap so we had to go to the front desk for those supplies. There was also no coffee (we never got any coffee). There was only 1 bar of soap in one bathroom and no shower wash in the other. It was shocking how dirty this room was. We found a discarded toenail on a piece of furniture. I spilled a little water on the kitchen floor and used a paper towel to clean it up. The paper towel was filthy. Cleanliness is very important, most especially now. I really hope this in not the norm for this hotel. Also, just an FYI, they put a $250 charge on your credit card for a damage deposit. You get it back but just be prepared. If you don’t have a lot of room on your card it could create a problem. I loved the room layout for the price so I would probably try this hotel chain again. I will still bring wipes with me though.

Like Staying in an Apartment instead of a Hotel

Not a luxury hotel, but updated, clean, very convenient and roomy...much like staying in an apartment. It has a full size kitchen plus separate bedroom. I much prefer to stay here over a regular hotel.

    Spectacular accomodations!

I had the privilege of staying at this fine property over a recent holday and the visit exceeded all expectations. The lobby staff was beautifully cordial. The room was ample and clean with plenty of space and amenities. I would highly recommend this property to anyone from extended stay businesspeople to overnight travels to those just looking for a quick abbreviated stay. The Sonesta ES Suites was perfect.

A lot of value for your money

Our accomodation had two bedrooms each with its own door and bathroom, a living room and kitchen. Our biggest problem was the cigarette smoke that came through the vents from an adjacent room. Someone was sent to investigate but to no avail. It is a shame the last 3 days of our 9 day visit were marred by this. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star stay. The free shuttle service within a 5 mile radius was excellent. The breakfasts were just okay. The happy hour in the lounge has free wine and beer but if you don't drink that you have to buy a bottle for $2.50? Strange...but then so was the 6:25 call we received the day of our arrival wanting to know if we were still coming?!
