The suite was absolutely beautiful. We were on the 4th floor and had a great view of the lake and pool. There was hand Sanitizers everywhere and the room had plenty of towels. The room was clean, big, and had plenty of room for all 6 of us. The kitchen had all the essentials to cook a meal and it had a full size fridge.
Friendly staff, rooms were older but in good shape. Pool was gorgeous. Unfortunately we had noisy neighbors our last night. Only real negative is restaurant and market place were closed due to covid so had to leave to get any food.
DO NOT STAY HERE--Terrible mold problem in unit.
We stayed at this vacation club property for one night in July. We had a one-bedroom. The entrance and lobby were lovely. The staff was friendly. When we entered our unit, housekeeping was still there. They were not wearing masks! I wipe everything down anywhere, so I wasn't too alarmed. We dropped our bags and went to dinner. Upon our return, I noticed a musty smell in the bathroom. After my family showered, the smell was awful in the bedroom. I called the front desk to tell them to have housekeeping and manager find out where the odor was coming from after we left in the morning. The clerk offered to move us, but we were already in pajamas and just closed the bathroom door. We were able to fall asleep, but it was unpleasant. In the morning I decided to see if I could find the source of the mold. It was then that I noticed mold on the grout between the tiles in the bathroom. The cabinets are old (like from the 80s/90s--the room has been updated, but the bathrooms weren't renovated). This may have contributed as well. We will NEVER stay here again and I strongly recommend that you don't either.
Visited here the week after Christmas for a mini family reunion and had a nice overall experience. Pros: Friendly staff; efficient check-in; I am an owner and was asked, but not pressured to do an “owner update;” spacious and fully stocked kitchen units; nice pools and grounds; great location. Cons: We reserved a three-bedroom unit and 2 two-bedrooms, and while our two bedrooms were fine, the three bedroom was a bit dirty and we had little flexibility to change rooms when we found out- the carpet was very dirty and the couch had stains that could not be removed though maintenance did come to check them out after several hours (had to call twice). On the carpet literally black dirt came up when I put a towel on the floor to see if it was just the color- which made me uncomfortable to have our small children play on the floor, and because three bedrooms are limited and there were apparently no additional ones available at the time, we were stuck. We made the best of it, however, and would come back, but only if we reserved units in the Key West phase of the resort, which is newer, or if we knew the carpets had been replaced.
Best hotel in Orlando
This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Villages on idrive. I highly recommend it. We stay in the Belle village area with pool view. The rooms are emmaculate as is the whole resort. There's greenery everywhere with beautiful walkways round the huge lake. The pools are amazing. Staff are so friendly and go out their way to help you have the best holiday. It's a piece of paradise. It 15 minutes from disney/universal and about 8 minutes from seaworld. The itrolley stops right outside.
