A bit noisy from Waikiki center in the middle of the night
It is in the center of Waikiki. Convenient to go interest points. Very close to the beach. As it is a very popular and lots of tourists' area, you can hear lots of noise from the street and singings from the restaurants even inside your hotel rooms. The noise won't stop until after 1:00am. If you prefer a quieter hotel, you should choose towards the end of Waikiki beach.

Family of 5- Highly recommend
We were a Large extended family group of 15 . Ages ranged from 3-76 years. We chose the Sheraton Princess for location and amenities and we were not disappointed. All Of our rooms in the Princess Tower were a good size, clean and tidy. The 2 double beds were comfortable and there was plenty of options on the TV. Room phone, small bar fridge, safe, drawers and plenty of hanging space and room for suitcases. We were provided with bottled water every day which was very much appreciated. The bathrooms were quite dated and run down but clean and functional. A toilet, basin and small bath/shower. We were in a room of 4 people and managed to share the bathroom space without issue. We did not spend a lot of time in our rooms. The cleaning staff were thorough, friendly and professional every day. We were on level 9 so had water views. It was quite lovely at different times through the day to sit on the porch. We could see the pool below and we could see the beach, water and parts of the Main Street. At night, the lights on the opposite hotels and main road were really lovely. We spent a lot of time by the pool. It is huge and never overly packed so plenty of room for everyone. We were able to get a lounge by the pool each time too. One afternoon, we were treated to a live Hawaiian singing duo and a lovely dancer. It Had a very cruisy vibe to it. The pool attendants are absolutely amazing at their job!! They are always watching the water, they enforce the pool rules and are just generally very friendly, professional and happy to help. My young boys were obsessed with one staff member Carlos! He was very funny and remembered their names each day. They kept giving him little craft gifts they’d make at night and he took them very graciously. On our last night, he delivered a snack package to the room with a lovely note on the side for the kids. The next morning as we waited for our shuttle to the airport, he arrived off duty on his push bike to say bye to the boys. They were absolutely thrilled!!! Carlos is a credit to your team and he made my young guys feel so comfortable and safe around the pool. The bar was very hit and miss. With service, pricing, attitudes and quality of the drinks being made. We ended up buying our own drinks to have in the room because of this. No major issues but pricing differed, different staff told us different things regarding happy hour etc. We found the Restaurant to be a bit lack lustre with service. It was slow or non existent but the food was tasty. The lifts were always quick and restrooms throughout the hotel and by the pool were always very clean. The location is incredible. We could walk pretty much everywhere even with 2 young children. Out the back exit by the main road was a little food stall called Kai fresh. I had my morning coffee here every day and found it to be the closest to coffee back home in Australia. They also make the BEST waffles and açai bowls. Otherwise there is plenty of food options available within walking distance. Check out was easy and quick and again- no issues. The actual grounds of the hotel and the foyer and socialising area was quite nice and spacious. There’s plenty of space for guests to use. We also found the complimentary activities such as Lei making, story time, fish feeding and a Ukelele lesson quite good for days where we were just relaxing. I can’t recommend the Sheraton Princess highly enough for a family with young children. We personally had no issues at all and everyone in our large group was very happy with their stay also. It’s an easy walk around the grounds of the hotel anyone in a wheelchair, elderly or physically impaired and young kids

Great Location
We had a very nice stay at this hotel by Waikiki Beach. Its location was very convenient, a quick walk to Waikiki Beach and close to numerous restaurants and stores. Our room in the recently renovated Ainahau Tower was well-furnished though modestly sized. Lighting was bright, and we had a nice balcony too. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. I read a lot of complaints about slow elevators. The Ainahau Tower has 4 elevators, but one of them was closed for renovations. During our stay, there was really only one occurrence where the elevators were jammed packed, and we had to wait 10 minutes before getting to the lobby. The rest of the time, we had no significant issues with the elevators. Upon checking in, the hotel also provided instructions on using the service elevators in case of delays, though we never felt compelled to have to use those. Parking is at the back of the hotel. Oddly, I wasn’t able to find an elevator for the lower levels of the parking lot and instead only found a staircase that led to the lobby. However, the elevators for the Ainahau Tower had access to the upper floors of the parking lot. There is a $45/day fee. Entering/exiting the lot required your key card (you can grab a ticket the first time you enter before checking in), though by the second day it seemed the gate recognized our license plate and opened the gates automatically. The parking lot was big, busy, but was never full during our stay. At check-in, we were given instructions to park at the adjacent International Market Place lot or the other Sheraton hotel in case the lot was full. With so many restaurants nearby, we ended up eating all our meals nearby and did not try any of the hotel’s restaurants. The hotel has a $33/day resort fee that includes numerous activities and amenities. We unfortunately did not get to take advantage of any of these as we were spending time throughout the island. The nearby area was bustling and full of energy, especially at night. Unsurprisingly, there were numerous ABC stores a short walk away and the adjacent International Market Place had many restaurants and a convenient Target store too.

Sub par rooms very tiny for more than one person
Stay here frequently for work purposes - the rooms are fairly small in the main tower wing - so be prepared if there are two of you especially the rooms facing the back of the property or the construction site:.. close to shopping and markets of Honolulu - staff is very nice and helpful but pretty much motel quality rooms compared to other Sheratons
