Base for attending Graduation at UPenn
We stayed for 4 days at this hotel for our son's graduation at UPenn, this was somewhat reasonably priced for that time of the year when University City hotels become extortionate. We had a nice stay, room was decent sized, and location was quite central and a 10 min Uber ride to UPenn. Their lemonade and cookie stand near the reception, is quite a nice touch. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. We had some drinks at their restaurant before going for our Graduation brunch and also had drinks and dinner another night. Both food and drinks were quite good. Overall, a good experience.

Great sevice and event host
The staff were super friendly and very helpfull. They were a great host for our conference and their catered food was very good! I would definitly be happy to go to a conference here again. I'm giving this a four however becuse my room wasnt quite clean when I arrived (there was hair in the shower drain!? Enough to block it😱) and some of the surfaces (window sills, headboards) were dusty which I've never experienced before. I suspect they need to hire a bit more staff? Especially when they have a lot of guests? I suspect my room hadnt been used for a while? Also, the AC is very loud and had no low fan setting but loud AC seems to be the norm in Philly. Otherwise the regular daily tidy/maid service was good.

Friendliest staff.
I arrived at the Philadelphia Sheraton for a business trip and was not feeling great. My mood was instantly lifted when the front desk greeted me. They were so nice, made sure I had a great room, and made me feel very welcome. Throughout the stay everyone I interacted with there was just so nice. The room was comfortable and the view was great. For me it really was the service that stood out. Even as I was checking out the people just seemed happy to be there. And the food at the restaurant was 10 out of 10. I had the wagyu burger (absolutely recommend!), grilled salmon with asparagus, and chicken caesar salad while I was there.
