Horrible Runnnnnn don’t stay you will not be happy
For the price y’all charge ain’t no way these rooms should not have a microwave and water that’s not brown. Theses room should have went for $100 a night at least oooooo and let’s not mention the $30 a night parking it’s bad enough that we are being ripped off with the prices of the rooms but to pay to park and we are styling at the hotel is very diabolical.

Southern Area Meeting
A nice facility. It's very spacious with lots of connections to other convenience facilities and restaurants just blocks away. I really enjoyed the event. Taneshia O. was exceptional in her hospitality and for taking care of our concerns. A microwave in each floor would be more in line than just having two for this massive hotel and Convention Center full of activities.

Enrique makes up for the culinary misses
Front desk employee, Enrique Rosario, was outstanding! He welcomed me and gave me personal, unhurried attention even though there was a long line of my colleagues waiting to check in. I don’t know if he gave me a room upgrade but it felt like it! He also gave me a chance to draw for a little special benefit. It was fun after a long flight on a hot day. The only downside of the trip was the food. The buffets were fine, and the salad selections were especially good, but the seated dinner served by the staff was undercooked and cold when we finally received our plates. In fact, it took so long that some of the wait staff thought our table had already been cleared, when we hadn’t been served yet. I had one potato that was black spotted and a cooked carrot that was crunchy. The meat was cold and not very flavorful. The dessert was the strangest thing ever. It was a key lime torte with what I can only describe as a lime jello drizzle. I ate more than I wanted to just trying to figure out what in the world it was! The facility has recently been remodeled, which was very successful. My room was lovely.

Awesome stay, will definitely return.
This was an awesome stay. The check-in was great. The clerk that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The valet service was very good as well. India was awesome! Our room was very clean with no complaints. We also had room service which was decent. This is a very beautiful hotel.

Comfortable Stay, But the Rooms Could Use a Refresh 🛏️✨
I only stayed one night at the Sheraton Birmingham, and overall it was a comfortable experience. The room was spacious with two queen beds, a large desk, a decent sized bathroom, and a closet with an iron and a small coffee maker. Something I found interesting was that the room had two mini fridges both worked, but honestly, I would have preferred just one fridge and a microwave instead. The only microwaves available are on the first floor of the tower, which meant having to leave the room and take the elevator just to warm up a meal. The view from my room looked out onto the courtyard in front of the BJCC, and I also had a partial view of Protective Stadium, which was a nice bonus. The area of the hotel I stayed in definitely feels dated. The wallpaper and furnishings are showing their age, and one of the mattresses was squeaky and you could feel the springs. It wasn’t the most comfortable sleep, but manageable for one night. I imagine once this section of the hotel is refreshed, it’ll make a big difference. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. A small request I had at check-in was taken care of quickly, and that kind of service always stands out. If you’re attending an event at the BJCC or passing through town, this hotel is in a convenient location and gets the basics right. Once the rooms are updated on the side I stayed. This property will be just perfect.
