Jul 29, 2025My wife’s 50th birthday bash!
There were so many nice people that made our trip absolutely amazing! Mario, the pool side concierge, was absolutely amazing! Always smiling, helpful and happy. A genuine soul. He made sure everything was perfect for my wife 50th birthday. Nedel, was also awesome, he made sure our cups never went empty and was also always smiling and happy. Hector , the DJ, was very awesome with the playlist of music he selected and did fill our request for music we wanted to hear as well. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman that worked at the Nook. He was there to get my day started off between 3-5 am every morning with a smile and kind words. He was also a genuine soul. These people made our trip absolutely amazing! Last but not least, everyone that works there that cleans from the inside out, did an amazing job! I never saw any trash laying around anywhere. Over all I give this place 5 stars all day long mainly because of the people i mentioned. God bless these amazing people.

50th Birthday Celebration
We had absolutely the best concierge service and wait staff at the main pool on the Secrets side. Mario and Nedel went above and beyond to make our first experience in Cancun the absolute best. Mario helped my husband set up some cabanas for me and my friends to celebrate my birthday and Nedel never let our cups get empty. Hector and Luis were also amazing. Hector and Luis made the pool side activities so much fun. Luis with his witty personality and Hector played music we could all get excited about! I can’t compliment these guys enough! Jul 28, 2025Do not go if you want to swim in the ocean, otherwise ok
If you want to swim in the ocean I would not go here. Water is murky and from what I heard from other people it is rocky. The beach was ok. Everything is on the breathless side except one restaurant (rosewater). The pool was nice if not a little rough texture wise. The service and food were good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We were on the secrets side. Which means you can go over to breathless but they could not go over there. Breathless definitely had more of a party atmosphere and they had the music pumping as the day went on. It was nice to be able to party there but go back over to a more relaxed area at secrets. It was a nice resort but I will opt to go to a different one in the future. More just to try something different and not because of the resort

Great time in Riviera Maya with wonderful service
This was our first visit to a Secrets connected to a Breathless so we were not sure what to expect. It was a fun time! Being able to go over to the Breathless and engage in the higher energy there, but then to go back to the Secrets side to relax was very nice. The resort was fairly busy but we never felt overly crowded which was nice. It as also our first time staying in a swim-out and I would certainly recommend it! In the heat our pool (building3) had our pool in the shade in the afternoon so the water was actually cooler than the main pool. Jumping in for a quick dip after dinner cooled us down and I am sure helped us sleep better! (sure, the margaritas helped too...). Some fun and good entertainment rounded out a fun week!

Good Value / Friendly Staff / Solid Resort Experience
We chose to book this property as our usual go-to property was under renovation. We have visited other Secrets properties so we were familiar with what the expectations should be. Property is nice size. Not too big but spread out enough to allow you that resort feel. Arrival process was efficient. Concierge and Reception staff were friendly and answered all of our questions. Rooms are large and updated. Loved our A/C as it was very comfortable in the room during the stay. Some resorts do not have good A/C in the area. We had and ocean and pool view which were very much appreciated. There are a variety of restaurants and bars that you may visit. Being on the Secrets side, you also have access to the restaurants/bars on the Brethless side. The Secrets side tended to be quieter and more laid back whereas the Breathless side had a more upbeat vibe. Most of the other guests were pleasant, but there were a few whom felt they were at a frat party. I did not have a meal that i did not enjoy. Service staff was friendly and efficient. Only on a few occasions did the meal go beyond a normal time setting. Buffet is decent and has a lot to offer, but the hours are a little wonky. Major highlight of the property was the entertainment staff. Spicy Luis is a treat and definitely does the job to engage with the guests and keep things lively. Mar, and the other wait staff kept us going with drinks throughout the day. We rarely had to wait for a drink to be brought as they were on top of it. We will definitely consider this property again in the future.
