Great experience even without curtains
My only complaint was the room did have black out curtains. Everyone was very nice considering the crazy flow of guests during th weekend, so you better treat your employees well. Other than that we loved the place and will definitely stay again for EDC.

BROKEN AC & ALL ELEVATORS BROKEN!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!
We arrived and 1 of 3 elevators were working in the Alexandria tower. We got to our room, turned down the AC from 75° to 70°. After 3 hours, temperature did not go down 1 degree. We called front desk AND texted for an engineer to come troubleshoot the issue (6:37pm). We had to leave for dinner reservation at 7:15pm and called front desk to make sure they would still come in to fix the AC if we were not here, they said ok, so we left the room. At this time, all the elevators were down. I had to walk down 12 flights of stairs in heels. We returned back to our hotel after dinner - back to 1 elevator working. We walk in our room and the AC panel was hanging off the wall. The AC filter was clearly obstructed with dust and debris. This filter was clearly never changed in months! We had to call front desk again for another engineer to come. He witnessed the filter and said yes, it has to be changed. He came back and changed it and within minutes we noticed the air change to cooler. So clearly whoever came in our room while we were at dinner just tampered with the AC panel, did nothing, and left. This is only our first night and this review has yet to await what will come of the elevator situation for the rest of the weekend. This is unacceptable! To have all 3 elevators broken and have to take the stairs down 12 flights in a Vegas hotel is insane.

Great during Slow Season - Lacked Customer Service
I really enjoyed everything that Sahara had to offer. II definitely recommend especially as a first visit to Vegas. I was upset that there was supposed to be an early check in but we were not checked in until after 6:30pm. We were also told we were not able to have access to our luggage once we gave it to luggage storage. Which posed a major inconvenience for us - it restricted us from utilizing the pool / changing into normal clothes after arriving at 6am. This has never happened to me at any hotel before. I did however want to thank Michel'le at the front desk for trying to make our stay more enjoyable. We were actually provided a voucher that allowed us to try the different restaurants at Sahara. The day club was one of my favorite parts of the experience due to the large TV projections during sports season. We could sit by the pool and watch some of our favorite basketball games. The suite itself was absolutely beautiful on the top floor. I highly recommend this hotel, but be weary of the time of year and if there are any events going on! It definitely is a hot spot.
