Great value & location + there's an empty mini fridge

For the price, location, access to the monorail and the quality of rooms, Sahara is a great choice to stay at in Las Vegas. I've stayed here when it was old Sahara, SLS and new Sahara. The refurbishment of the rooms between being SLS and now new Sahara is definitely a step up. The rooms are comfortable, pretty and have tons of light and mirrors, making getting ready a breeze. There is an empty mini fridge to store your own snacks and drinks! The beds feel nice, the rooms are quiet and the showers are hot. The only drawback is the light that peeps in from the curtains in the morning. The pool area has a cute Moroccan theme and the prices aren't exorbitant like some of the other nearby properties. There is plenty of parking between multiple garages and they're not too far from the actual property. While I wish that there were actual gluten-free options on property for people like me with celiac disease, there is an eclectic mix of Asian, Mexican, Italian, a cafe and fine dining, so you're sure to find something your party wants to eat. “Summertime At Sahara”

Being a local you definitely get to play at several resorts and perhaps stay. This was the case with my most recent staycation at the Sahara not only did they have great perks for locals my experience was outstanding! I love the property and vibe there and my experience was hands down the best! The staff from easy peasy check in to a complimentary upgrade. I’d like to recognize these team members. Jane & Twinkle at check-in, Marcos & Julio at housekeeping. I highly recommend whether a local or vacay to not miss out with a stay at Sahara!

    Disgusting, putrid, smoke filled room

After a late flight, I arrived at midnight with my child. The hotel would only provide me with a smoking room even though that was never requested during the reservation process. The room smells like an ash tray filled with marijuana and cigarettes. Every fiber of carpet, upholstery and wallpaper is contaminated with the stench. All aspects of the room are dated. I have never spent a worse night of sleep anywhere- even seedy, cheap motels that I stayed in during my youth! Got 5 hours of sleep and am escaping this hell.

    Sahara Staycation

We've always played here but it was our first time staying! Such a beautiful property. Had amazing service at Casbar, and our room was really nice. We also had dinner at Uno Mas. It was a great experience and I'm already planning to come back Thursdays for the multiplier.
