    A Diamond on Maui

Many people think of the big names when looking for hotels in Hawaii, or look for condos and Abnbs. I'd like to Introduce The Royal Lahaina. Over the last 30 years, I've stayed at the Royal Lahaina, just about every year, both on business and vacation, and seen it in all of its glory. I must say it's never been better. This is one of the best resorts on Kaanapali, bar none. From the rooms to the beach or the great restaurants and the famous Luau. You you can't get any better than the 5 star staff. I don't write reviews often, but my last stay was awesome. Mahalo Yvette

Beachfront, modern, nice pool, great dining, nice location, overall outstanding!

This is an only pro list, can't think of any cons: 1. This hotel is located on the west side of the island and is a great option for everything Maui. 2. The hotel is beachfront and has a fantastic pool area. The restaurant at the hotel is a fantastic for breakfast and dinner. 3.The location is near Lahaina which is a mostly torusisty area but not nearly as commercial as Waikiki. 4. The staff was great and very helpful with anything we asked. 5. The property is home to an amazing Laui and a very nice spa. There is also plenty of parking for self parking your rental car. 6. The rooms were modern and well appointed with outlets for all our devices. Overall an outstanding experience at this wonderful hotel!

    Mahalo Royal Lahaina!

Where to begin! One of my best friends miraculously asked me to join her and her assistant on a business/pleasure trip, and it was nothing short of magical. Everything about this resort was a dream come true. The beaches, pool and grounds were immaculate and peaceful. Never felt crowded or too busy. Breath-taking views everywhere you looked. Super friendly staff. We ate at the on-site restaurant multiple times & it was some of the best food we had our entire trip. Upon arrival you receive a lush lei made of unreal orchids and a coupon for a free Mai Tai from their bar. Delicious americanos at the coffee shop. We were there during whaling season and it felt like we had a front row seat to a wildlife documentary. Honolua Bay is right down the road and was the ideal spot for some amateur snorkeling. The sunrise at Haleakala and the Road to Hana were highlights of the trip, and it was always so nice to return to the resort for a relaxed evening and picturesque sunset. We truly did not want to leave and I would highly recommend Royal Lahaina to anyone who is wanting to experience some of the best Maui has to offer! A huge mahalo to everyone who made our trip an unforgettable one! I hope to return again one day soon!

    Amazing Location

This is the second time we’ve visited this hotel albeit with a 20 year time gap! We are pleased to see it still had retained its Hawaiian charm, but had also had some upgrades like the Hot tub and Gym. The location is just spectacular, including unreal sunsets in a really chilled environment. Highly recommend this hotel!

    We really love it here

4.5 stars from us! We came here for our honeymoon in June 2019 for 8 days. Loved it so much aside from some small things which I had to knock down half a star.. We will (hopefully) be visiting again in a couple months for a 30th birthday celebration and for a little longer! If Covid let’s us, that is.... lol. We are so excited and cannot wait to be there again! Counting down the days!
