Nestled on lively Kuhio Avenue, Romer House stands proudly amidst the bustling International Market Place and the renowned Marugame Udon. Our establishment is a tribute to the vibrant neighborhood, positioned at the heart of Waiki¯ki¯, mere steps away from the pristine beaches. As the sole adults-only hotel on O‘ahu, we offer guests an upscale retreat immersed in island culture yet distanced from the hustle and bustle. Each of our 179 hotel rooms pays homage to Waikiki’s Mid-Century apartment architecture, many featuring private lanais for a touch of serenity. 


On the ground floor, our lively neighborhood izakaya beckons with a fusion of Japanese-Hawaiian cuisine, perfect for sharing during leisurely evenings of camaraderie. Meanwhile,  the second floor Backyard pool club provides a relaxed and sociable atmosphere without the splash-zone distractions.

    Meh- Not worth the price. Overall, it was just ok. There is way better places.

    Location was ok. Workers nice. Room small. Water bottles were gross and got us sick. Showers get water everywhere. Hotel food expensive and too small. Not worth the price. Gym 8 mins away. Rooms and floors make an annoying noise. Not again. 😢

    Clean, accommodating, and

    I recently stayed at Romer House near Waikiki Beach and had a great experience overall. The location was incredibly convenient—just steps away from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy morning walks and sunset views without needing transportation. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, which immediately made me feel comfortable. The staff were all very kind, polite, and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was assisting with local recommendations or just making sure I had everything I needed, their service really stood out. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a hassle-free stay in Waikiki with everything you need close by. I would definitely stay here again!

    Enjoy our stay

    The hotel was right in the center of town. The staff were great. Ariel was great she was very helpful , she made the stay even better. Would go back again.

    We loved our stay at Romer House! We were able to upgrade our room to a king with a balcony, and it was perfect. The room featured a spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, and balcony overlooking the pool. Gerald, who checked us in, went out of his way to make us feel at home. He went into great detail explaining all the hotel had to offer to ensure we got the most out of our stay. He is so kind and hospitable! The hotel is super central to Waikiki; less than 10 minutes away from the beach and a plethora of restaurants and shopping. The hotel being adults only is the cherry on top.

    Relaxing stay.

    The amenities are nice—welcome drink, water, beach chairs and umbrella! Rooms are very nice and walls are thick-quiet. Definitely would recommend.
