Check-in Policy - Deposits or credit/debit card hold authorizations are not requested at check-in. "Minimum age of 18 is required for check-in, an ID/Passport will be requested upon arrival.
Convention Policy : Groups traveling together can book this property for their stay taking advantage of group benefits such as 6th or 11th complimentary guest, Group dinner reservation, One complimentary cocktail hour with a selection of appetizers, One complimentary massage for the group leader, Complimentary room upgrades to the next category, Fruit plate and bottle of wine for the VIP, Private check-in when arriving together, Welcome sign. Spring Break Policies -
1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted ONLY at Riu Santa Fé hotel.
2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.
3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense. a. Parties in rooms are not permitted
6. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.

Aug 24, 2023Great Vacation Resort
This was one of those vacations where everything was perfect. From arriving at the resort, checking in, room location, room cleanliness, pools and buffet/ and specialty restaurants, we had no complaints. Temperature was hot (35-38) daily, and the sun shone brightly. Beer and alcoholic drinks plentiful. What more could a person ask for. The staff was helpful and friendly. They did everything they could to fulfil your wishes. We will return to the Santa Fe next fall, however i highly recommend this resort to everyone. If you are treated the way we were treated, you will want to return as well. Great resort. Great vacation.

The resort was average. Good value for what you pay. The food was fine we always could find something that we liked. We loved the Italian buffet. We didn’t get to go to the parties but they sounded like a great time, be prepared for lots of walking as the resort is very big.

It was a great time
Had a great time at RIU, food was great, RIU parties were a great experience and had a lot of fun, hotel was kept clean, and the view from pool area was beautiful, check in and check out were a smooth process Highly recommend

Wonderful but horrible ending
So I actually stayed here in May 2015 with my brother, my mom had recently passed and wanted her ashes to be scattered in a beautiful beach. It was all wonderful and 100% with it until the end. When we were checking out I realized that I had forgotten a bag in the room so they were kind enough to give me back our key so we would run back up to the room. Inside the bag were all the gifts we had gotten our family and friends. When we got to the room we noticed that the bag was gone so we went back out into the hallway and saw housekeeping. We went up to her and asked her if she had seen our bag and sure enough she had it hidden under some towels We didn't think much of it because she gave it to us right away but boy were we wrong. We got back down to check out and informed front desk what had happened and she said if we noticed anything missing to contact the hotel later. And when we open the bag (everything had been wrapped in newspaper) we saw that the wrap looked intact so we didn't think anything of it. Fast forward we get to the airport and the plan is delayed about 20 minutes so we decided to check the bag again because my brother realized that it wasn't as heavy as it should've been and when we undid the wrapping we discovered that everything had been taken. Most of it was jewelry and the reason we didn't realize that it was gone was because it was wrapped into a ball so we didn't think it had been taken. I immediately called the hotel and told them what had happened and I told them the housekeepers name, Dora (I remember because it's my moms sisters name) and I provided them with photos and they said they would get back to me It took a whole year of me calling, leaving messages and emails trying to get some type of resolution only for them to say that they trust their staff and can't do anything for me And it's very sad because other than that I loved my entire time there and was looking to book again but that just really changed my view on them in the end

Awesome Mother Daughter Trip
10's all around the board. This was our first annual Mother/Daughter Trip and to stay at the Riu was so awesome. The rooms were exactly what we booked and looked just like they did online. The staff was great, they were nice and knowledgeable about everything that w asked them. The food was chief's kiss. The pool vibes were also great. This is the best resort I have had the pleasure of staying at.
