Great Resort for All Ages!
We are in the middle of our stay and must override the negative reviews given. The resort shines from its recent renovations. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped. The food choices are incredible at every meal. The staff is friendly and seem to enjoy their work. This resort is an incredible bargain for the many amenities which abound. The pools are pristine and the Dos Equis is plentiful. And this 72 year old enjoys younger guests having fun. So there!

Love hate
Ramone was the greatest! The line to check in was long but Ramone took us to the checkout desk to check in and he explained the whole resort on the way to our room. The resort was beautiful and the view spectacular. Now the bad part. The noise from loud people down the hall’s echoes really loud. All the doors slammed shut and echoes through the halls. Got literally no sleep. The food why you could find something edible was a disappointment especially the Italian restaurant yuck! The tici tacos where good the burger and dogs at the snack bar where good. The alcohol was bottom shelf and watered down. The juice especially the orange juice isn’t real juice, which I have found throughout Mexico. The pools where nice with plenty of loungers. I will end by saying if your American you get served after locals at the bars.

Great experience
This one of the best resorts I have stayed in. The pools and the pool bars are amazing. Their entertainment options and the Riu parties were a lot of fun. The food and drink could have been better but not bad. The service was pretty good and overall was a very good experience. My husband and I had a lot of fun.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I'LL NEVER STAY AGAIN!!
1. missed our flight, upon arrival they kept our reservation, BUT gave away our room to make more money of course! I reserved an upgraded room to be put in a BASIC room. When I advised the front desk, they denied it and the staff sat behind him and LAUGHED! 2. we reserved help with our luggage, for NO ONE TO SHOW UP, the guys were very nice who were assisting others, said NO ONE TOLD THEM about our room to get our bags. THEN the lady at checkout said I had to have the 2nd person there to check out so I had to run back to the room to get her while she was waiting for the employee to get our bags. Other than those rude check in and check out people and no refund for upgrading my room, the rest of the staff are wonderful! 3. Room was in the rear, all the way at the top with a view of the kids pool. Walking to eat or go to the pool was miles away. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!
