The Resort offers Weekly “RIU Get Together Party” and Free access to “RIU Pool Party” at RIU Complex (Mondays & Fridays).
Admission to the Jungle Party on Mondays and the Pink Party on Fridays includes free transportation to and from the venue as well as access to drinks and snacks while on premises. This entertainment concept is available to guests over 18 years of age.

Check-in Policy - Deposits or credit/debit card hold authorizations are not requested at check-in. Minimum age of 18 is required for check-in, an ID/Passport will be requested upon arrival.

Hotel Spring Break Policies :
1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted ONLY at Riu Santa Fé hotel.
2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.
3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense.

6. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.

Friendly welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for you. Special shout out though has to go to David in the buffet restaurant. Absolutely amazing service from him.

Celebration at riu
First solo trip. Had a blast. Staff was great. Food was moderate mostly buffet style. Steak house was better selection of all restaurants and jerk chicken heading towards the beach was the best meal on resort. The rooms where clean except for the foul smell from the water/ septic sewage... Over all staff was excellent. Very courteous and helpful. Lot of fun activities on site as well as all the cool parties. Yes I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's definitely for party and vacation.

If you’re looking for a PARTY resort - look no further. They are known for their RIU parties for a reason, and that did not disappoint. However, the amount of people and the crowds are quite overwhelming. Went as a couple, but it would be better with a group of people to party with. The food was good, you have a large selection at the buffet’s. The best was by far the jerk chicken! It is a very large resort, so be prepared to walk. Our room was the furthest from the main party pool/beach, so it was about a 8 minute walk. The main complaint would be the cleanliness. There was lots of trash scattered around, the pools were quite dirty, and the beach was not raked like all the other resorts. And the staff did not seem the friendliest, compared to other resorts we have been to. Overall we had a blast, it is what you make of it!

Hotel was good. A little outdated but I still found it clean. The food in some of the restaurants was quite bland but the buffet was good & the steakhouse was yummy 😋 The only compliant is the air-conditioning didn't work properly in the room & room service often forgot to replace water & coffee in our room. However, they really did a beautiful job of our room after cleaning using real flowers to create beautiful designs 😍 Our room was in front of the pool & bar pool so early every morning I got to witness staff cleaning the pools & pool side & constantly checking the pools ph levels throughout the day. Absolutely fantastic jobs been done here by staff that you wouldn't see over here in Europe. I'll definitely will be back again 😊

This is definitely a party resort, but we knew that going in. Definitely better as a group of people and not solo or just as a couple. There are some quiet sections if that is the case. The staff don’t seem very eager to help you unless you give them extra money, including the Sunwing reps (that was who our trip was booked with). The room gets clean but not everything gets replaced - I often had to go ask for water at the front desk. One day we had no towels at all. The air conditioning in our room broke so it was SO hot and the front desk don’t do anything, they just say it’s a “general issue” and the technician may or may not show up for you. Many of our travel mates had broken ac and it was the same response all around. Will not be returning.
