Julian, from customer service, is EXCEPTIONAL!!. My friend, and I, stayed for 13 days a couple weeks ago and Julian went out of his way every time we saw him to help us in any way that he could. Great attitude, and even better person! Thank you so much Julian! You’re why we are RIU Diamond Class members! We just keep wanting to come back for more!

Best vacation ever
The employees are exceptional and they make you feel like you would be at home. The food is very good. The place is very clean and the drinks are awesome.

Somewhere special
Wanting a special trip for my 50th I choose Jamaica for a few reasons, somewhere different, great weather and of course the legacy Bob Marley heritage.. On arrival to the reception it was clear it’s a very lovely hotel, the setting is very lovely and with the sea views it’s quite beautiful. The hotel offers good day activities and evening entertainment is also good with varied things. The hotel offers a few different restaurants, steak, Italian, Japanese etc, main buffer is very good with options to suit all. It be nice to see some for fresh fish on offer, salmon was amazing.. Had soya / oak milk available which was great for the wife. Other restaurants offered a very good selection and standard of food. Particularly liked the daily beach bbq as very well cooked. Yes jerk is hot if wanting. Drinks on offer are good, bar staff are always fun to see and the singing is good entertainment.. Having looked at all the other hotels along the waters edge I’d say this one is definitely the best in the way of setting. Rooms are very nice, a decent size, always very clean, have all that’s needed. We had a lovely balcony with sea views which was very lovely. Beach from hotel is always cleaned (not that is dirty) but looking fresh and inviting to the amazing waters.. Only 2 comments of areas needed for a little attention, ‘a very few’ of employees are not that friendly, one being in the pre booked restaurant (this was highlighted to reception at the time and the other to someone offering drinks on the beach, they walked past us many times without offering anything yet people close got offered? This is shame as it lets the rest of the excellent team down. So question is, would we recommend. Most definitely, a superb hotel offering all that is needed for a fun, relaxing holiday. This is the smallest riu we have stayed in. We liked the layout but found the staff not as friendly/outgoing as other riu properties. The beach is the best we have ever seen. Clearest water calm ocean level entry and sand. Simply perfect! Was not bothered by anyone on beach. The trip to the resort was just fine approx. 2 hours
