The beach at Riu Palace TB is what makes this resort what it is. The clear blue/green water that you can see the sandy bottom and very minimal sea weed and just enough wave action to have fun but be safe are just a few of the wonderful things along the beach in front of RiU TB. The service and staff are exceptional as well, very friendly and accommodating. The ocean view jr suites are nice and spacious, we did get woke up a few times from the fire alarms, and the toilet didn't flush right away a couple times, but the a/c worked fine and we actually needed the extra blankets in the closet because we were cold. The food is good, with the exception of the Japanese restaurant. The pools are well maintained and with 3 of them, and the beach, there was always room at any of them. Towels and chairs were always available as well. We wish the coffee place inside the Daiquiri Bar in the lobby would have been open earlier than 10am, though. The jerk chicken hut was great for a quick lunch on the beach if you didn't want to go to the buffet. Would have liked to have had a wrist band that also served as your room door key so that you didn't have to carry those around or worry about losing it. There are no elevators at this resort, so keep that in mind if you get assigned a 3rd floor room. Overall, we have stayed in 2 Riu's and will continue to book with Riu for future vacations.

Started out with a friendly check in with an awesome room. First day at the beach we were greeted by Andre & Judith and their big smiles. They always were there when you needed anything. The following morning we went to breakfast and were greeted by Derval & Twain all week and always started our days off on a positive note. The grounds are very well kept along with our room by Crystal and our guy who kept our bar well stocked. Sorry I didn’t get his name. We were able to get into the specialty restaurants 5 nights out of our 7 day stay. The buffet always something satisfying for our tastes. The Jerk Hut was a big hit for us for lunch as we could sit on the beach and enjoy the best Jerk Chicken that I Have ever had. One of my most favorite things was the local musicians playing music for us on the beach. The beach was one of the best that I have been and there was plenty of shade when needed. The entertainment was good and had something for everyone along with the added entertainment at the bars and the bartenders enthusiasm that really helped keep everyone entertained. Once again I feel as though I made a good choice in choosing to stay at a RIU Resort whether in Jamaica or the DR!

Amazing
The customer service from the staff was off the charts! They were thoughtful and friendly. Everything was always on time, and help was just seconds away. The cleanliness of the rooms was spectacular. I can't wait to return this summer!! Peace & Love

Perfection in every area
Another amazing stay here after staying last April. Hotel great can’t fault anything - clean, tidy, nice food, plenty of sun loungers, great entertainment, brilliant service from all & the most amazing beach 🏖️ with crystal clear water 🌊 Special mention to a few of the staff we dealt with directly at the hotel. First of all Beverly at reception who was very accommodating in getting ourselves & our daughter rooms next to each other. Then we had Damian, Twain, Derval, Christine whose service in the Nergril restaurant was first class & not forgetting Michelle’s omelettes 😋. We loved all the restaurants but our favourite was the steak restaurant great food, great service from all the staff. Shaun was brilliant in providing us table service & also Martin he has the most infectious smile who you can’t help but warm to 😊. The Entertainment team as always full of energy getting all involved & made to feel welcome. Special mention to Advance, Oshane, Zeus, Marcus, Lady T, Samoy, Spotlight who are an essential part of making this hotel what it is & making our stay all the more better. We had an exceptional cleaner in Paula who always left our room looking like a show home 🧼.. We did a couple excursions while there & we dealt with Okacha from Scuba Caribe he approached us on our first day & explained what they had to offer then he left us to it to make our minds up no pressure selling which we don’t like, so highly recommended going through him. Will miss my early morning chats with Patroy about the football ⚽️. Last but certainly not least Osmart (Willing) one of the ground keepers these guys go under the radar as most of the work is done before many people are awake. He works really hard to make sure the beach is clean & tidy for the guests, he’s always smiling & enjoys the job. We will be booking again as soon as the travel agents open again Tuesday morning. We’re already counting down the days until we return to this little slice of heaven. Until next time, thank you to the whole team for making our stay unforgettable! 👏
