My spouse & I enjoyed the beach and going in the ocean. Service at our loungers was very good. The ocean bottom sandy, the water clear. Sargassum cleared as well as possible, but it’s a thankless job. Vendors were quite pesty and too many. The pools were clean although not refreshing. Two of them were very warm, on the hot side. Pool w/bar was the coolest. Too many children in the pools. We thought it was adults only. The food was good at all restaurants. Hot/iced lattes from the lobby were good, the woman running it was on point. 24 lounge was a good spot to hit up anytime. Entertainment was enjoyable. Note: AC in our room was noisy. Close to town, golf course across street. Overall we had a great week.

Something pretty wonderful. What an amazing holiday . All staff were exceptionally friendly.. Rooms were well equipped and immaculate. Food and drinks plentiful. The only downside I felt was reserving of multiple sunbeds and I mean multiple not just 2 or 3 at a time, and the large groups gathering in a la carte this to me was romantic dining but groups of 20 or more spoilt the ambience dragging tables chairs etc to accommodate whilst eating your meal. That said was the only downside of an amazing holiday

Really nice hotel, restaurants are so rich, facilities too clean and in good conditions, alcohol quality is good and not limited during the weekends as other hotels for the same company.

brilliant hotel from checking in our holiday was amazing as we have stayed here before, we know the hotel well quick check in then straight to the bar after 9.5 hours on a plane, waiting for luggage and then 1 hour transfer - well deserved! Bar Staff all amazing - Heri/Nelsie/Claudia and team at the lobby bar kept your drinks well topped up Adriana used to be at the lobby bar but moved to pool bar - sad as she was amazing in the lobby bar - German / Sergio at the pool bar during the day again attentive as are all the guys and girls - but sadly cannot remember everyone's name Restaurants Buffett restaurant as always plentiful - lots of variety and freshly cooked constantly Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day though Chillis for lunch or pepe's - again great selections evening cuisine - lots of variety Speciality restaurants - always looked busy, but as I am a fussy eater never eat in them as menu not great for me personally 24 lounge bar - self service coffee / tea / wine / soft drinks / beer / spirits food - sandwiches / burgers / sausage / fruits / mexican bean stew /chicken nuggets nachos with cheese morning they have sausage / bacon / hash brown / sandwiches / fruits / yoghurt pools sadly the two middle pools were like sitting in a hot bath - not sure what was wrong but too hot especially as we had fab weather and needed a cool pool water volleyball pool ok in the morning but gradually got warmer pool bar cool in the morning but never venture in after 12 noon !!! Beach - again the sand is kept raked by the garden guys, but sadly lots of seaweed at this time of year - Gardens - immaculately groomed Cleaning Teams - constantly cleaning - just feel guilty when walk on it after they have cleaned. entertainment team Ricky and his team constantly keeping the guests busy - how they have the stamina I will never know White Party - sadly way too busy for me, felt quite clostrophobic - Neon party didn't go - but for both they offer shuttle bus service, free, but honestly you can walk to it as not that far ? Pool party - what a blast and where you all lose your sense of sensibility!!! A Must do evening entertainment okay but personally we prefer the lobby bar and the piano early evening As you are in a Palace you can visit the Playacar / Palace Mexico / Yucatan / Tequila , for drinks and food during the day ( not the evening food service though) - great as you can do a pub crawl, and get out and stretch your legs and walk off all that food! Shopping centre near the hotel too and the centre of Playa Del Carman is around 45 minutes walk to the left of the hotel Room we upgraded to a suite this time so had a lounge area and loungers on the terrace with sea view no need to shampoo / shower gel / conditioner / body cream as all provided fresh white towels daily bed change on your request as you just leave the card on the bed fully stocked fridge / vodka / tequila / gin in your room included coffee maker we had room 1107 - and our room lady, I think her name was Choco ?? left us lots of towel art on a daily basis with flowers made from tissue paper Noise on corridor twice we were disturbed by people returning from the Neon / White party - sadly not the hotels fault = just some guests do not respect their fellow holiday maker last night woken up at midnight by someone collecting dishes / glasses etc - had to get up and tell him off!!!
