    Short weekend

This was our second stay here and we can’t wait to come back. We absolutely love it here and the staff is amazing. The food and display was top notch. We were able to upgrade rooms when we got there and it was definitely worth it. The covid test was quick and simple and only took about 20 minutes and was included.

    Neutral 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve stayed here a few times in the past year, and it’s changed a little over the years. A few years ago I would have given this resort 5 stars with no hesitation. Unfortunately the last couple visits fell a little short. The staff is still amazing all around. The rooms definitely could use some upkeep now. And seems like they cut corners on the food now. Would I stay here again- not as my 1st choice, but wouldn’t rule it out if it was the only option ??!!???

    Great experience, staff was amazing!

I am only giving a 4-star review because we had issues at check-in. We reserved a room with a King size bed, and when we got to check-in we were told that there were no King rooms available. The only option they had for my boyfriend and I were 2 double beds. We had to stay in the room with two beds the first night, and they moved us our second day into the room we booked with a King. It was an inconvenience since 1. we reserved a specific room, and 2. because we had to check out at 11am of the first room and could not access the 'new' room until 4pm that day. Aside from the room, the staff at the resort were excellent! The waiters around the pool and beach were quick, as well as the waiters and hosts in the restaurants. A few that stuck out were Eduardo, Angel, and Felix...just to name a few. Would definitely return in the future!

    Fantastic stay

We had a great trip. The service is impeccable. The servers at the pool and the beach were highly visible and accommodating. The outdoor bathrooms were spotless (not a grain of sand or wet floors). My villa in the adult area was spectacular. Highly recommend. Next time I go on vacation, I will be going back.

    I Expected More From Riu

My stay was from 12/13/2020 - 12/18/2020, my overall stay was just average nothing spectacular, the hotel met my needs as far as accomodations and food, I did miss the liquor dispensery being stocked in liquor, hopefully this will return when COVID-19 is down. I've stayed at several RIU resorts in the past and I'll probably vacation at this property again, or maybe not so many RIU properties to choose from along the Yucatan.
