Oct 13, 2024The wonderful staff keeps us coming back
We have probably stayed at this property more than ten times, and we have enjoyed all of them. We don't do any of the fancier restaurants; we love to be able to sample all of the interesting foods on the buffet, and the selection is very nice. But what really sets the Riu Palace Peninsula apart is the fantastic staff. From Alex who has greeted us at the door for many years, to Alicia at breakfast and lunch, to Elvis (and he will sing to you) at dinner, we always get a warm welcome. Our favorite is probably Diego at the lobby bar who is quick and efficient and has an amazing memory for faces and drinks. We talk about going other places and have occasionally tried other resorts but end up returning here because of these nice people!

Great time!
Traveled with a family of 6. We had a wonderful time. Employees were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms need a little updating but we didn’t spend much time in there anyway. Only negative was it took almost 3 days for them to remove some garbage we left outside the room.

Family vacation
Staff is always phenomenal at this resort. We have been traveling for numerous years already. We go back every year for that particular reason. Everything the staff does for us exceeds the expectations! We love this resort and will continue to visit every year.

Excellent
This the 2nd time in one year we visit Riu Peninsula…. The staff are amazing the property excellent, service impeccable and we are coming back again on Christmas!

Perfect
This hotel was outstanding from the moment we stepped foot in the building check in was quick and easy our room was amazing we loved the villas as they were so private pool area was adults only for us and it was lovely it was kept so clean the waiter during the day marcelo was amazing he worked so hard our cleaner was lovely to she decorated our room for my husband’s birthday which was so sweet the food was amazing always something to eat we tried a few of the restaurants too they were also amazing we also loved the riu party’s so much fun
