Don’t go!!!!!!!
Terrible customer service. Bugs in a room. Broken glasses at the time of arrival. Automatic doors not working. Service workers at the rooms amazing but people at bar and coffee shop are not friendly at all. Management unapproachable. Very disappointed on my first vacation with RIU. Will be adding pictures of bugs later today.

No Sargassum at all, what a beach and what a resort!! The food the staff, the entertainment everything about this place is five star. The resort is extremely clean and extremely well-maintained. I have nothing bad to say about this resort and the staff that work here.

Great family vacation destination - truly all inclusive
I would describe this really as a family-resort ... even though there were lots of couples and adult groups there. The rooms were spacious enough if you were only two people - and they were two single beds and a cot for the three of us. The bathroom is all open concept, but the toilet had its own separate door. It is a beautiful resort - exactly as the pictures showed. Very clean and well-maintained. The food was excellent, and LOTS of variety at every meal; the a la carte restaurants were lovely and NO-reservation required (which is so nice) and we never waited more than 5-minutes for a table; there were so many pools - and also adult-only pools; the entertainment was good (the ABBA show, not so much) - very talented people; the coffee-bar served delicious assortment of desserts and coffees, and the bar within had all sorts of interesting cocktails. The water park for younger kids/families looked great; the larger water slides were described to me as "intense" from my teenager. I'm not a beach-person, but the beaches were nice, yes a seaweed problem but dealt with as best as possible. The beaches were well-served as well. Even though it shows as close to the airport - it was an hour-long bus ride to get there, and we waited on the bus (for everyone to arrive from customs) for an hour - so, that was a lot. There appears to be a kids-club: we didn't try it. I did book an appointment at the Spa - and it was fine. The store on site has many nice things as well. Otherwise, we loved it - I would go back again for sure!
