Family Vacation
We had a great time. This was our 5th trip to Cabo but our first with our 2 boys age 3 and 5. RIU Palace was perfect.

Wonderful place, will come back a third time.
This was our second stay at Hotel Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas. It is an absolutely beautiful location right on the beach. It is immaculately clean. They have an army of people cleaning all the time. The rooms are always kept in order. They keep you supplied with two 1.5L bottles of water daily as well as coffee and drinks in the refrigerator. We never had any trouble with the restaurant water or ice, but they supply enough bottled water so you can brush your teeth with that if you prefer not to use tap water. The staff are super friendly and the front desk is responsive to your needs. We tried all of the restaurants on site, and you can’t go wrong on any of them. We especially liked the Steakhouse (El Medano in the evenings) and the Mexican Restaurant Coyota. Most of the restaurants are on Level 1 except for El Medano and San Jose (Italian) Use the RIU app to see the hours and menus for each restaurant. Also note that they do not really enforce their requirements for men to wear long-sleeve shirt or long pants in the specialty restaurants.

Great stay!
Overall great stay! Second time to this location. View was spectacular, proximity to downtown Cabos is great. Place was clean and food was excellent. Riu Palace is partners with Riu Santa Fe and California. From what I’ve heard Riu Palace is overall much better and cleaner

Very nice resort. Entertainment needs to be improved.
Very nice resort, staff was friendly and food good. Entertainment is sub par and they need to provide some enjoyable entertainment for adults until at least 10 pm each night. Hire someone to play guitar or some live music. Music at pools was really bad, Mexican disco or techno blasting all day. Most of your guests are Canadian or American, play music they will like.
