Everyone was so friendly and attentive. I heard the hotel was sold out but it didn’t seem over crowded. No long lines The ONLY problem I have it the slippery tile floors by pool

Apr 22, 2025Clean, well maintained resort that needs improvements
Pros- The resort is VERY clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were well appointed with great views. Beaches are beautiful. Shows are great, just could use something earlier or before the late shows. We didn't get to see all of the shows since our dinner reservations were so early, we didn't want to wait around for 2 more hours to see them. Steakhouse and Krystal restaurant were very good when you could actually get a reservation. The best food was the Jerk chicken station by the pool, you just have to wait on a long line to get it. Cons-The pools are NOT big enough to accommodate the amount of guests. Children are limited to 2 pools which makes them extremely crowded with balls flying and splashing everywhere. My children did not want to go in these pools for that very reason. My son's earbuds were stolen from the hotel room. Food was mediocre at best. Buffet was pretty much the same daily and often very crowded. Securing reservations at the restaurants was near impossible. The only way I was able to get reservations was to wake up at 3:00 a.m. and go on the app. If I waited till morning, there was nothing left. The Asian restaurant was terrible. Food took forever to come out and it was lousy. The Sports Bar was open 24 hours, but the food was terrible with very limited options. Not much to do at this resort other than go in the overcrowded pools. Area surrounding the resort did not look safe. We enjoyed Jamaica, but I would not stay at this resort again.

The trip got off to a rough start with the bed options in our room, but the supervisor, Ricardo, was kind enough to work on changing this for us. The room was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. The property was lovely, and the food options were great & tasty. The dining room staff was friendly and prompt. The entertainment was veryyyyyy good day and night. I would recommend staying here. My only ick was not being able to get into any of the restaurants for the weekend.

Riu Aquarellle Palace
Nice hotel, a little out of the way but close to the airport. Food, same every day, most staff friendly, entertainment team 10/10 really bring the vibe. Taxis outside the hotel far too expensive. HOT WATER in the room was just warm had maintenance come and look but it stayed like that for most of the holiday so was glad to come home for a nice hot shower. i wouldn't return. Rooms was very clean and the rest of the hotel. Partial seaview room didn't like looking at the metal containers.

Very good stay!
The hotel was nice and probably more so because it’s still pretty new. The facilities were nice. The food was good. The beds could have been a lot more comfortable. The beach could’ve been cleaned a little more there could’ve been more activities, especially for teenagers. The staff was amazing. The partial ocean view was weird Because looking to the right there was ocean but looking straight ahead was a gravel parking lot. There isn’t much around the hotel so you need to travel a little ways to get to anywhere else. The beach gets nicer the further you travel it. The shows were the best that I have ever seen at any resort in any place. The restaurants are nice. The jerk pork at the grill by the pool is the best thing in the Caribbean!!!
