First visit to Aruba
Our first visit to Aruba was wonderful. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is great. We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends. It is our second holiday using the RIU resorts and we will continue to use them. We had a great time.

Loved the new ELITE Club Program
The new Elite Club Program is amazing. Great room with a Smart TV, top shelf liquor, Elite aromatherapy, and even snacks! The Elite Club Lounge is beautiful and has the best drinks made with top shelf liquor. The Elite Club Restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious! The Elite Club pool is quiet and private with it's own bar with top shelf liquor.

Don't waster your money on this hotel!
The hotel was dirty. It supplied only 1 towel per guest. Upon check-in, we were told to get online early to eat because when they run out, it's gone. The snack bar was scarce, and the pool was dirty. We have stayed in all-inclusive in Mexico that were friendly and clean! This was our first trip to Aruba. I will never stay here again!

A slice of heaven!
My mom, me, my two sisters, and my adult daughter visited the Riu Antillas from October 21-28 for a girls trip! I was very nervous as it was our first trip without husbands and our first trip to a new country (we normally choose the DR). I cannot express to you how amazing our trip was. The service all around was absolutely top notch and I will never stop saying that. From the second we walked in to the second we checked out I felt appreciated and valued for even being there! All of the employees were extremely polite and helpful, and would do anything to ensure you felt safe/comfortable on your trip. Rooms: My sister and I had room 1211 (partial ocean view with two double beds), and location wise it was perfect! We weren't too high up (I noticed that the higher you went, the less the A/C was working, which makes sense given that heat rises) and two doors away from the ice machine and maybe 6 doors away from the elevator! Perfect location and perfect room. Our room overlooked the Palace but we also had an incredible view of the ocean plus the city! Our toilet, sinks and shower were all in one room, so if you're sharing a room with someone, keep that in mind. There was a closet with a plethora of hangers, a dresser with six drawers (maybe four?), bedside table with an outlet built in, a bench to unload your suitcase, a small couch, coffee table, beer fridge, coffee maker, liquor dispenser, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and body lotion. Oh and the fridge was stocked with water, beer, coke, coke zero, sprite and soda water. My mom, daughter and other sister had room 1837 (partial ocean view with two double beds) with the pull-out couch made into a third bed. Their room was consistently much warmer than mine and their hallways felt SO humid, again, they were much higher up. Their room had the shower and sinks together, but the toilet was in a separate room, which was nice for them, given that they had three girls who needed to get ready. I had the best sleeps of my life, which I am not sure if it was because of the beds/pillows or the coconut rum, but either way, amazing sleeps, every single night! I even needed an additional blanket, which was folded up into the closet. We didn't want to risk turning the air up, just in case it turned into a warm room situation like the other room. Food: Incredible! I am not usually a breakfast fan as I don't eat eggs and don't love sausages but this buffet had a bit of everything. I stuck with things I am familiar with, but I could eat those warm cinnamon sugar chips over by the pancakes every day of my life if I could. They had a wide variety of fresh fruits, yogurts, meats, eggs (benedict, scrambled, over easy, omelette station, poached), pastries, breads/croissants, waffles, french toast, pancakes etc. It was SO good. We also tried the Italian and the Steakhouse. I love Italian a la cartes while on vacation, I have no idea why as I don't love Italian at home. This one was no different! They start you out with their appetizer table of salads, pizza and other warm apps. You then choose your main course and dessert. We had the lasagna and the chicken parm, which were both absolutely delicious. The chicken parm was probably one of the best things we ate on vacation and the portion was HUGE! The lasagna was also delicious and is definitely one of my "safe foods" while away from home haha. The little donuts for dessert with Nutella for dipping is something I will not forget. My God! THEY WERE PERFECT LITTLE BALLS OF DELICIOUSNESS! The steakhouse was okay. We only went once and no one was begging to go back. All our steaks were incorrectly cooked and didn't taste the best, but all still edible. We all got the fries with our steak as the options were seafood as a side or carrots or fries. I found it weird that the meal came with literally a steak on a place and then a little bowl of fries. No vegetables? Either way, it was good and we left satisfied. Service: Again, I cannot say enough amazing things. The "head waiter" in the Italian restaurant took their job very seriously and it showed. Everything ran super smooth and they were correcting other employees on small things, like pouring wine from the correct side of the guest or putting the bread on the table a certain way. It was impeccable and I can see how much they care. Riu should be VERY lucky to have someone like that on their roster. Poolside service was also incredible. We didn't go up to the pool bar ourselves even one time! The waiters at the pool were absolutely perfect and took really good care of us. Most memorable were Enrique, Nathan, Lili, Lobo and Maria. Our trip wouldn't have been the same without them! I also loved seeing managers walking around at all times. One of them, I believe Alex or Alexandra (young lady from Spain) came over to us at dinner to ensure everything was good and that we were taken care of. We really appreciated that! General: The grounds were immaculate and the restaurants were kept in tip top shape. They had employees patrolling the hotel at all times to ensure cleanliness and it showed. I dropped an olive from the salad bar and didn't know what to do with it, as I didn't want to put it back or eat it haha. Before I could bend down to get it, an employee came over to scoop it up and toss it out! All in all, we had such a good time and we are so sad to be home. Keep up the great work, Riu! You will definitely be seeing me again. <3

All inclusive fun in the sun!
Fun adults only all inclusive resort. From checking in when we arrived, Mauricio was so kind and helped with our luggage. Luis & Emmanuel helped with reservations at the desk and Mery who helped problem solve our room situation. Randy the host at the steakhouse was very pleasant each time we saw him and remembered who we were. Loveline who cleaned our room did an amazing job and was very kind. Beach was nice & relaxing. You did have to go get your own drinks, wait staff would have been nice to have down there. Thank you to all who took care of us!
