Jun 30, 2025Very clean, something for everyone
Very clean, service was excellent, each time we asked for a blanket or a pillow or extra water, it was always delivered. Food was excellent, entertainment is good too. You could always find activities, or quiet when it was wanted. Plenty of chairs on the beach for all. Notes: building three is “family” rooms, with two nearly king size beds. Building one and two has the junior suites. Not this if you were traveling with a group, if you reserve two separate room, Stiles, the group will be split up. While we enjoyed the entertainment in the evenings, the announcer/DJ was often way too loud and talked too much instead of just allowing people to dance/enjoy the music. Karaoke was SO fun and attracted a huge crowd. But then they only allowed 45 minutes for people to sing, and three of the singers were actually workers and not guests!! This was pretty disappointing and several people who tried to sign up right at 8pm didn’t even get to sing. I think it would be more fun if they made it a longer time, and got more guests involved.

Great Resort
This was my first time in Jamaica and my first all inclusive resort and It was Amazing! So beautiful and great entertainment in the evening. I do like how it is family friendly and also a private area for adults such as the swim up bar. I will say there was a lack of security and that is a little frightening. A customer went off and started throwing stuff in the lobby and no one stopped him.

Phenomenal and a must go great food , great ambiance and the white party was lit real and proper to the core money worth
Love the experience it was phenomenal big up the bar tenders and the security personnel at the front and most importantly the Trinidadian lady she was excellent y’all need to give her a raise she was very attentive to me and the family she was top tier

We’ll be back!
Literally paradise ! Myself, husband and toddler stayed at the Riu for 11 nights end of Feb/ march and had an incredible time. After a long journey, Breanna checked us in- she was so lovely and welcoming, first impressions were great! Our room was spotless, cleaned throughout our stay and mini bar topped up regularly. The sea view from the room was just stunning! The whole resort is stunning and to say it is such a large resort, the staff do a fantastic job keeping everywhere clean and maintaining the grounds. There is always a variety of food and it was so delicious. The entertainment team are fantastic and always pumping out energy every time you see them, they literally are the life of the hotel. We spoke with TT a few times and she is just wonderful, they all are! There’s something for everyone, my toddler had the best time in the splash park and making friends. Dunns river is a short taxi ride and a must visit. There’s quite a lot to do within a 20 minute drive from the hotel so worth getting out and about. Pudding man at priory is a well worth visit if you’re staying at this Riu as it’s just a short drive away. I could write an essay on the things to do and the resort it was that amazing but I’ll keep it short and sweet! We didn’t want to come home and we’ll definitely stay at you Ocho Rios again! Celebrated my 60th birthday outstanding staff, food location and experience! Loves it. Would definitely stay here again
